The city is small but very elegant.
The city is small but very elegant. The main attraction are the baths, which are part of a UNESCO World Heritage transnational site. It is recommended to visit during the spring season as the beautiful riverside parks will be at the height of their beauty, but the Christmas market is also drawing lots of interest.
The city centre is realtively small, with the main shops in the lower area and the historic section with lots of scenic views on the hill overlooking the river Oos and the baths area. Excellent public transport is available for trips to nearby locations.
Special mention for the Frieder Burda museum.

The town is very relaxing and offers hiking, biking, sightseeing and of course the spa and casino. We took a free tour of the casino, which was informative and not too long, 45min. The spa is a must otherwise why go to Baden-Baden! There are two options, and they are completely different in what they offer so best to read up on them. If you want any treatments book early as they go fast on weekends. There area is beautiful and there are a lot of walking/hiking/biking opportunities to enjoy so plan on getting out from the downtown and head up into the forest. The Black Forest is less than an hour away for any day trips as well as Strasbourg. Train service is an option.

We used Baden Baden as a base of operations for seeing areas further north along the Rhine and further east in the Black Forest, and it's a charming town though of course very much an upscale shopping mecca (which is not really our thing). Now that I've seen the town I'm realizing we could well have stayed an extra night and seen some additional historic castles and other sites, and I for one (though not my husband) would have enjoyed a day at the spa!
As we arrived early, the hotel was accomodating for leaving our luggage until the room were open. The location was great. Paid parking was closeby and was easy to navigate. The staff was able to help us with providing directions. They were very clear on how to enter the hotel with reception was closed which helped us greatly. While we were on separate floors, this was not a problem at all. There was a great Tapas restaurant across the street. The spas were reasonably close for walking.
Apartment was very specious and comfortable. Everything was brand new and very clean. The host was wonderful! He waited for us until midnight, because we had delayed flight. On the last day he let us stay as long as we want, not just until 10. Great location, near Baden-Baden centre and perfect if you have a car and want to explore Germany and France, because few lovely cities are within one hour ride. Absolutely loved it and we would be happy to visit it again!
Hotel is located centrally in old Baden-Baden, next to the Friedrichsbad and Caracalla Terme, with many attractions within short walking distance. This is the main advantage of this hotel. The owners are friendly, helping to get services, even the covered parking space next to the hotel (15 EUR/day). The rooms and beds are very clean, spacious, basic but comfortable. Breakfast (cold) buffet is rich, with a surprise with eggs cooked to order.
We were extremely unhappy about the cleanliness of the first room we were assigned. However, the friendly and helpful receptionist upgraded us to a more comfortable suite, and at least it did not have the same lousy animal smell. The hotel's location is very convenient and is only a short walk to central Baden-Baden or the beautiful Lichtentaler Allee. There is a swimming pool and 'spa' area and quite an attractive garden.
Location location location! We went to baden-baden for the spas, and this hotel was right across the street from both of the main spas.
With no reception or any staff it was easy to get our access code and walk straight up to our room.
The bed was comfortable and having pretty much a full kitchen was wonderful.
Being able to use the clothes washing machine was also a huge positive.
Hotel Beek is very well placed for visitors who plan a trip to Baden Baden's spas or casino. It has the advantage that it is close to the centre of town - shops, restaurants - but in a quiet corner. We discovered that our room had a balcony with a wonderful view of Friedrichsbad, and an excellent patisserie beneath for Kaffee und kuchen.
The family suite (last room available) was spacious for a couple. It was all very clean. No air conditioning but a fan was provided - and needed
Nice breakfast - lots of choice for a small hotel
Staff were very friendly.
Easy walk into the centre of Baden Baden
A beautiful luxury hotel in the lovely (yet expensive) town of Baden Baden.
Everything is top quality from the comfortable and spacious room, through the perfectly temperatured pool, to the varied, fresh breakfast.
The service was friendly and efficient as well.
This hotel has a very good central location. You could easily reach different restaurants and shops.
Rooms pros: relatively clean, spacious, and bright. Although we had a pleasant stay overall, there were a few areas where we felt improvements could be made.
Fantastic location in centre of Baden-Baden. It's a small but cosy hotel and the room was comfortable. Good, modern bathroom and excellent shower. Very good breakfast. Good value for money. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic hotel in the heart of Baden-Baden. A minute away from the main pedestrian zone. We were with car, so garage on site was a perfect option for us. It's 18 €, but it worth. Very clean rooms with everything you need. Helpful staff, rich breakfast.
the saunas and spa and the natural mineral/thermal water dispensed through the room bathtub faucet was nice. the hotel decor was very elegant. breakfast was delicious and plentiful. staff was accommodating, friendly and helpful.
Good central location in the beautiful city of Baden Baden.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, well designed, comfortable and highly functional
hotel manager extremely helpful and friendly
everything was wonderful from check in to check out! we loved that we could walk under the hotel to the spa’s. comfortable bed, beautiful room, and very attentive and friendly staff!
