We had a great time at Hotel de Sterrenberg. Spacious room, enjoying the peace and quiet on the edge of the village of Otterlo. Proximity to the entrance of the park Hoge Veluwe is definitively a plus. We enjoyed the 'surprise menu' at the Cèpes restaurant. A real treat of flavours. Also the accompanying wine offer was excellent. Staff is super enthusiast and friendly. Breakfast is also delicious, with fresh local produce. Modern and tasteful interior design. On parking lot there is the possibility to charge your EV.

The location is amazingly good, in the woods away from through traffic and just by the open boundry of the Hoge Veluwe. 10/10 for location. The Lodge(Hotel) has a pleasant appearance and is well maintained. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was very comfortable on the ground floor. We had dinner there several nights and it was always well prepared and presented. Breakfast was always good with a great choice of both hot or buffet food. We feel that we have discovered a gem that we will want to visit again.

The bungalow was clean and comfortable, located in nice surroundings near the Hoge Veluwe National Park. The host's communication was fast and perfect and he provided us with detailed information about the accommodation, the check-in was easy. The village of Otterlo is also very lovely and there are a lot of possibilities for bike trips. It is a suitable place for trips all across the Netherlands, even places like Amsterdam and Hague are within reasonable distance.

location is good, walking distance to train station and bus 108 to Hoge Veluwe National Park, it only takes 20 min bus to Hoge Veluwe National Park, many supermarkets, shops, restaurants, a good street. apartment is big, and we are 2 people , 1 sleep in room and 1 on soft bed in the living room, which we can have our own privacy. Can watch youtube on the TV, good. Atmosphere and decoration is chill and fancy, have kitchen can cook

This modern hotel is well-located for those planning a wellness break, cycling holiday, or walks in the woods since it is in the Hoge Veluwe National Park itself. There was an excellent breakfast selection. In view of the facilities it seemed good value. We were grateful for the secure bike storage since we were on a cycle tour. Also a good location for visiting Arnhem and the wonderful Kröller-Müller Museum at nearby Otterlo.

The hotel is the perfect stay over when visiting the Hoge Veluwe park and the Kruller Muller museum. The location can’t be any better, as it is right at the entrance of the park. A spacious, clean and comfortable room ( space enough for a bath, which it hasn’t unfortunately), with a wonderful breakfast-the best and biggest variety I have ever had! Definitely recommended!

The establishment is in the heart of Veluwe, really in the middle of a fantastic bike route. The forest around the hotel is so relaxing, it's almost within walking distance to Garderen but there is also a good bus connection (2 stops). Rooms were spacious and tidy, bed was very comfortable and the staff was super-friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Friendly helpful staff, secure overnight bike storage in the garage, spacious room, excellent breakfast, Our room was above the restaurant facing the street. Nice shower. The price for the room included the breakfast which made it a really good value. Very close to the Netherlands Open Air Museum and the south entrance to the Hoge Veluwe National Park.

Kasteel De Vanenburg is beautifully located on the Veluwe. The private grounds with gorgeous gardens are the perfect setting for a romantic getaway. We had the Junior Suite and loved the comfortable bath tub, big and comfortable bed, private terrace, and the quietness of the place. Dinner at the restaurant was also great and good value for money.

You can enjoy an amazing view of the "Lake Veluwe" from the restaurant (or if you have the correct room type...). The breakfast was well equipped and had everything required to enjoy it. In general, the room was small but clean and had everything you needed. The waiters were friendly and professional (although some issues - see below)

I came for the nearness of Hoghe Veluwe, which is probably the Netherlands most beautiful national park. However, the immediate surroundings were the most amazing, as well. Altogether, a beautiful place for creative work and leisure which is exactly what I came for. The hostess is very nice and accomodating and the rooms extremely comfy.

Beautiful historic mansion situated in the forest, close to National Park Veluwe. The hotel has tonnes of character and whilst the rooms and amenities are fairly simple (e.g. bathrooms are basic and a bit dated), this place offers good value for money. Breakfast was nice. The surroundings are quaint and quiet.

location: in the heart of the woods. quiet. birds. fresh air. you can walk (run) quite a bit on unpaved roads in the proximity of the hotel. 20' drive to Apeldoorn, Het Nationale Park De Hoge Veluwe, etc. free parking on the premises. breakfast quite ok.

Centrally located in Apeldoorn, on city hall square ; close to station (10 min walk), palais Het Loo accessible after 30 min walk and Hoge Veluwe park by bus (bus stop 5 min away). Clean room. View to main square but carillon from city hall at nightime

I like the area, really quiet and very close to veluwe national parks. You have garden view which is really good. Design inside the hotel itself looked lux. The receptionist and employee there are friendly.i do like to the online check in

Location to Veluwe and train station. Chef did amazing job with dinner menu (completely unexpected as we don't usually eat at hotel restaurants). We liked the feel of the hotel; it's not fancy but 100% authentic.

The apartment is located in a woods, very beautiful. The garden is very cosy. The kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfortable, the bathroom was clean. The apartment position is excellent. Close to the Hoge Veluwe park.

The hotel is very accommodating to people traveling with pets. The hotel restaurant and breakfast buffet were very nice as well. It is a great location if you are looking to visit de Hoge Veluwe and surrounding nature.

The staff was nice and friendly. The room was nice and clean. We liked it because it was close to Veluwe Park. The breakfast buffet was good with decent choices and we enjoyed the coffee.

Beautiful and comfortable lodges in a mesmerizing location in the middle of the Netherlands right next to the national park of Hoge Veluwe. A fantastic getaway for relaxing.
