The view from the mountain room provided a full panoramic view, complete with a small balcony overlooking the lake. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. The girl at the reception and staff of the kitchen were very supportive and polite. The hotel owner was very welcoming. At the end of the stay, the hotel provided a small souvenir from Ohrid, and these thoughtful gestures make the difference. Additionally, within a 10-minute walk, there is an excellent restaurant with a panoramic view

Situated in Ohrid, 200 metres from Saraiste Beach, Villa Sofija features views of the mountain. Wonderful hotel in the old part of Ohrid. The host let us know what to tell the taxi driver and he brought us right to the hotel. There are stairs up from the road, but we let them know when we were arriving so the staff helped us with luggage. The room was large, with a view over the lake. The person who checked us in give us some ideas of where to go and what to eat while we were in Ohrid. Clean, comfortable.

The personnel is very friendly and open to different requests, for example they exchanged the room when we asked to have the view to the backyard. Our room was quite spacious, so the baby could crawl around :) The hotel itself is right in front of the lake with its own beach. There's also a restaurant in the hotel, which is very convenient.
