Friendly staff, beautiful, clean, spacious rooms, and located in one of the most gorgeous areas. One of our best breakfasts on our trip was at Skalakot. We wish we could have spent more than 1 night, and we were so glad we signed up for one of their horseback riding tours in advance. We would highly recommend it - it was our first time riding a horse in years, and was one of the most memorable experiences throughout the trip. If we ever get to come back to Iceland, we would absolutely return for another stay.

Breakfast served was good and had your American and EUR favorites: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, pancakes, cookies, sandwich meat, beans(?), yogurt, coffee and juice. Cannot say anything about the view, since we arrived in the dark and left in the dark.
