The White Horse is a beautiful Grade II-listed pub in the heart of Dorking with atmospheric dining areas, serving an award-winning fresh and seasonal menu, and a cosy oak beamed bar with fireplace. I loved my three night stay at this lovely hotel. A really English atmosphere and perfection! Thank you so much!

Wotton House is nestled in 13 acres of listed gardens in the Surrey countryside, 3 miles outside of Dorking. A beutiful house, lovely food. The staff are exceptional, its greatest asset are the staff at reception who are absolutely delightful to deal with. They are the first and last impression if this great hotel.

Set in Ewhurst, 24 km from Box Hill, The Bulls Head Inn offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Lovely inn, fully modernized with great family run facility. Stuart and his wife were lovely.

Set in Godalming, 20 km from Frensham Great Pond and Common, The Withies Inn offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. My partner and I stayed here out of necessity for a location wedding so we were not too sure what to expect, however we were so impressed with the breakfast, dinner, staff and room! We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could have had another night <3

Set in Betchworth, 7.7 km from Box Hill, Red Lion Hotel, Pub & Restaurant offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. At first we found the bar staff to be vague and inattentive but then we met Lucy, the assistant manager who could not have been more helpful. The room we had booked had been given to someone else in a party but Lucy and the manager quickly sorted us out with two rooms rather than one and we were quite happy to have been upgraded.

Situated in Godalming, 15 km from Frensham Great Pond and Common, The Stag on the River features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. I can’t exaggerate how good this pub/hotel was. The rooms were spotlessly clean and really comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the food and drink were delicious, the location was picturesque and the rates were more than reasonable. Riccardo and his staff are going far beyond expectations! Thank you!

Inn on the Lake by Innkeeper's Collection boasts a lakeside location and is surrounded by picturesque gardens. Thank you. This is not only the find of the trip, but the best find of the last 5 years of travelling. First, after 5 nights in 2 other 'luxury' 'exclusive' & 'smart' hotels, we thought this would be a disappointment, or at least be a little old and shabby ... How completely wrong we were. We were welcomed by Nicky, (more later) 2 hours before check-in, and while the room wasn't quite ready, we were offered somewhere to store the bags, a huge sofa to relax on, and truly outstanding food. After a week of meetings, slight disaster at one location, and then a non-stop 16 hour day in London, this was a super suprise. Nicky manages the whole hotel and restaurant with the pure class, cool and confidence that only comes from many years dealing with passengers on 'The World's Favourite Airline', and I haven't met a better manager in the last 20 trips. And that right across the board, from Gastro pub to Country club to 5 Star London landmark. She makes everything seem like it isn't the slightest of bother, delivers exactly what is offered or promised, and from our 48 hours with her, truly cares about her team, the hotel and of course the guests. When we were given our room, the suprise continued, not only freshly refurbished, but not a single item that didn't work, the latest Samsung Smart Hotel Tvs, and decorated in a fun and modern way. And then the bed. ... the bed was larger, better dressed and presented, and more comfortable than any other in my last 5 trips to the UK. And while there are no baths in the hotel, the shower was super modern, wet-room style, with separate rain shower head and hand shower. And to top it off....immaculately, almost compulsively clean. With no corners cut. So, as far as the hotel, the welcome, the room, the food and the service..... truly 5* quality, with countryside pub charm, for distinctly 1-2 star pricing. And then the above and beyond.....

The Hurtwood Hotel is a boutique hotel set in an elegant 1920’s building is located in Peaslake. small town atmosphere everyone so helpful

The Georgian Hotel is situated in Haslemere town centre, set in a garden. There is free high speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. I loved everything! And the staff including the resident cat was so friendly and approachable. I will definitely come back again especially to say hello to lovely David.
