We stayed here for the night with my family of 5 and they were so accommodating! The food was so yummy and had great Gluten Free options for me! The room was so spacious and the bathroom was gorgeous. We loved the hot water bottles that were there too! Gorgeous village as well.

Helpful, welcoming hosts, even though we arrived really early because we wanted to drop off our luggage on our way to a wedding. They were very accommodating and made it all very easy. Free on street parking right outside. Breakfast was really good too.

The Flying Fish Stables is a traditional country pub in the quaint village of Windmill Hill. It offers home-cooked food, real ales and individually designed rooms. Taunton is 15 km away. The chalet/stable was absolutely fantastic, finished to a high standard, lovely king size bed,TV and tea and coffee the staff were all very friendly. Great place to stay!!!

In the Exmoor National Park, the 13th-century Luttrell Arms offers medieval features and picturesque gardens. Delicious breakfast ....very good assortment of pastries , cerals, fruits. The hot choices were very good and cooked to perfection. We loved the staff. They were all wonderful esp Jules, Freya, Lucy, Charlie. Dinner was superb. The fish n chips were an A+++ and we are from New England. The hotel is so steeped in unique history and each nook and crannies reflects this beauty. Our room ( #1)was fantastic.I The Secret Garden was indeed a lovely secret haven for afternoon tea.

This 16th century country house is on the slopes of the Quantock Hills, 15 miles from Exmoor National Park. It has quiet gardens, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a restaurant. Emily was amazing, so nice, genuine and lovely. We had a great one night stay. Food was perfect, complimentary tea and cake was such a nice touch too. We had the standard room and it was absolutely perfect. Great small touches as well. 100% recommend

Situated in Bishops Hull, Taunton, this charming period residence is over 300 years old and is set in its own grounds, offering somewhere to relax and enjoy. My father and I were visiting my son at the Taunton School. We selected Meryan House and were more than pleased. From the minute we entered we were warmly greeted by the Wife and Husband team. They were so nice, they made us feel like truelly welcome guests. The Inn itself is oozing with character, history and comfort. Each room has its own character, dating back hundreds of years but updated with all the modern comforts. Downstairs the breakfast/dinning room has an ancient hearth. The living room is a nice place to gather and we had a drink at the bar with fellow travellers. The breakfast is classic English and delicious. I will being visiting Taunton again and will certainly choose to stay here.
