Amazing food at the restaurant, 6 course tasting menu was unexpectedly good. The ‘bar’ food was also very good. Service was well paced though at times could feel draw out.

This quintessential English village inn is set on the edge of the beautiful Welland Valley, just 4 miles east of Market Harborough and 4 miles west of Corby. This was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were modern and very clean with a great bathroom. The breakfast was very good, and the pub for other meals had a lovely atmosphere. The menu was very good, and the Sunday roast was very, very good! Well worth a visit for a meal, and I will definitely stay here again.

So I am writing this review on his behalf, quoting what he told me upon his return to Greece: "I had a great time at the hotel and feel extremely grateful for all the help and support I received from the exceptional staff. Everything was perfect and a great value for money." A big "thank you" from me as well for being there for him.

Holiday Inn Express Kettering, an IHG Hotel Corby offers good-value, contemporary accommodation with inclusive breakfast, free Wi-Fi and free parking. The room was clean tidy with lovely towels . Plenty of tea coffee and milk and easy to obtain more if needed. Staff were friendly and approachable. One member of staff went out of her way to ensure my nephew had breakfast when there was only brown bread left and he wanted white bread . A lovely atmosphere.
