Surrounded by trees, L'Arveyron Open House is located opposite the Mont Blanc mountain range, a 20-minute walk from the centre of Chamonix. Breakfast was good with lots of different options for both vegetarians as well as Non-vegetarians.

Hotel Eden sits in Praz, a 2-minute drive from Chamonix-Mont-Blanc's town centre and 100 metres from Flegere cable car. Most of the rooms have views of the Chamonix Valley or Mont Blanc. I came in at 2pm and a free upgrade was provided as my original room was not ready.

Hotel Val D’este is located in Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains, a ski, and summer resort in Haute Savoie, Rhone-Alps region, and a thermal village. It offers views of the Mont Blanc mountain range. You couldn't get a better location is this stunning town. The view from the window is lovely.

Le Saint Antoine, in the ski resort of Les Houches, is in the Mont Blanc region. Its spa has a hot tub, sauna and hamman (free access) and optional massage treatments. Food is excellent and staff is very friendly.

Located in Les Houches, Auberge le Montagny offers a living room with a fireplace and views of Mont Blanc and the famous Aiguille du Midi. Chamonix-Mont-Blanc and its ski slopes are just 6 km away. The bed and breakfast was super clean and very cute. The host always helped us out.

La Ferme de Cupelin is located on the "heights of Saint Gervais les Bains" at 5 min drive from the ski resort. staff were superb, food and wine delicious
