This hotel is set in the heart of Besançon, just 700 metres from the banks of the Doubs River. Guests have free Wi-Fi internet access and are invited to relax in the hotel's lounge bar. Hotel staff was really kind. Breakfast was really nice with fresh orange juice and bakery.

The Best Western Citadelle is located in the historic city center of Besançon, a 5-minute walk from the Doubs River and the Citadelle. Free Wi-Fi is available in the rooms. Location was good, breakfast ok. Parking good but you need to book prior to visiting.

Situated along La Loue River, La Table de Gustave is located in Ornans town. It is just 550 metres from the Gustave Courbet museum and Pontarlier is 35 km away. We had a comfortable and quiet room. The dinner and breakfast at the hotel were excellent.
