I even took photos of it for future renovation ideas. hot water came out instantly. the bed was very comfortable and best of all so were the pillows. the staff was very friendly, helpful, and pleasing.

Casa Marcial (adults only) is located in the beautiful town of Besalú, just 100 metres from the mediaeval bridge. This property offers a garden with an outdoor pool and great views. Location was excellent with beautiful grounds. Gemma was an exceptional host. Rooms were very spacious. Everything was spotless.

This was the highlight of our trip. The hotel, the staff, the peaceful surroundings, the farm animals, the hiking, the pool, the food. Everything was spectacular, we did not want to leave.

The stay was for my birthday and it was perfect. I wanted nature, quiet and animals, and I got all of that. The masia is beautifully restored keeping its original charm, there are 2 dogs and a cat that are super friendly and Montse is a attentive and welcoming host. We had dinner prepared every evening, with fresh ingredients and a lovely breakfast every morning to give us energy for the day. Montse will explain all the hiking routes and key attractions. Definitely coming back with the first chance we get!

Das La Fustana erwartet Sie mit geräumigen Zimmern mit Terrassen in ruhiger Lage in Maià de Montcal. A lovely self-built wooden building, with some excellent self-built furniture. A shower so good I had to turn down the pressure; really comfortable large double bed. Lovely views outside the windows of the spacious and comfortable guests' common room. Great location for visiting Besalu, which is lovely, and the Garrotxa, an area of beautiful woods and dormant volcanic peaks. The restaurant literally over the road provided excellent food in a very friendly environment. Finally our hostess was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Haviers parents built this hotel for guests all over the world! I saw a foks there in the morning:)
