A gorgeous building that is kept very clean. Our room was wonderful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was perfect and presentation was elegant. Location was perfect to explore the shops in this charming town and close to the entrance for the Drachenfels train.

Happened upon this hotel by chance for a one-night stop-over. Room was small but sufficient. Staff was really friendly. I had a great evening meal in their restaurant and the breakfast was decent. Set in a peaceful location in Bad Honnef, the family-run Hotel Markt3 offers comfortable rooms 1.5 km from the River Rhine. Free WiFi internet access is available throughout the hotel. Based on 60y of travel in Germany, I wanted a last night in a village gasthaus. This is close to that ideal. But the kitchen closed at 2045, without notifying me, and so...no dessert. I was greatly disappointed, despite the good quality of the Italian cuisine. In their defense, on Saturday night, the German restaurant next door also closed at 2030. Very different from past times.
