Hotel Moselauen is situated in the centre of Bernkastel-Kues. This property offers large breakfast buffet and also provides guests with a sun terrace. Free WiFi is accessible at the hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional; and the hotel has very modern amenities. Unbelievably clean, with very comfortable rooms and facilities. The breakfast was very good, with a good variety of both European foods and standard American fare such as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Secure parking under the hotel helped put my mind at ease. You would have to search for a reason to not be satisfied.

We had an early flight and check out starts at 8am, she let us pay early and told us to just leave our cards inside the room. She also prepared food for our drive to the airport and delivered it to us the evening before. It was great since we had to wake up at 4:30am. The breakfast was delicious, I miss it so much! The location was perfect from the gas station cornee store, restaurants, and downtown Idar-Oberstein as well as a 6 min drive or 25 min walk to the castle. Will definitely return to this hotel. Ps. For 3 euros per load, they also do laundry, which saved us big time, we stayed 8 days & and nights, so it was a huge help!

Everywhere smells really nice. The hosts are the most lovely and helpful people. They were always thoughtful about our needs but never invasive. It's suprisingly big since It's a redone house. You get your own key and can come and go as you like. There are about 25 rooms with a shared lounge where you can grab snacks and drinks and just write what you took on a bit of paper. There is no fridge or coffeemaker in the room itself, but we didn't miss it. The shared coffee maker is excellent and prices are cheap. Nearby are at least two good restaurants (next door and Frisch Fritz) at walking distance. Plenty of free parking around. It's the perfect location to visit everything in the area. Breakfast is fabulous and from 8.30 till 10. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!
