Location: The grounds are beautiful and lovingly kept, surrounded by trees, with comfortable outdoor lounge spots. Room: The room has everything you could need after long hours of traveling by car: a protected balcony, a comfortable couch, a fully quipped kitchen. The bed is incredibly comfortable. Dining: We arrived late in the evening and traveled with our cats so I can’t attest to what restaurants are around, however we were pleasantly surprised that there is a supermarket 3 minutes’ drive away.

Õhtusöögikohad asusid viie-kuue minutise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Käisime Horvaatia restoranis Dubrovnik ning jäime väga rahule nii toidu kui ka teenindusega.

The location near the abbey is quite unique. The rooms are modern with a nespresso machine, a small fridge stocked with complimentary biers, water and cola, and the breakfast, in my opinion, is excellent. While they don't have a gym at the hotel, they do a peloton bike with a subscription that you can have delivered to your room for a workout. That's a great idea, especially when the weather is cold, dark and rainy.

It was a sentimental journey. I did stay in this hotel many years ago with my daughter an we enjoyed not less as this time. Very accessible, good parking possibilities and stunning view on the Rhine especially from the restaurant.

Like a phoenix rising from the ashes. We have stayed in this area for many years and after the flood disaster wondered if we would ever go back. However Hotel Ruland have certainly given us a reason to return and I am sure once the surrounding building works are complete it will be more than perfect
