CABN stocked the property with everything we needed and has been the best-stocked property I've ever stayed at. Our biggest regret is having to leave the property. I highly recommend staying within the local area and make the most of this experience.

Situated overlooking the calm waters of Eastern Cove in scenic American River, the Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge offers a warm friendly welcome and features an award winning restaurant showcasing... American River is a bit out of the way, and KI Lodge is almost as far as you can go before the road ends! We had a superior King Bayview room, which had a nice balcony, 2 decent beds and was tastefully decorated. Its features include tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, an iron and ironing board, and a room safe. And thank you to the hotel for the “welcome gift” of a bottle of wine and cookies; very thoughtful! There is an a la carte restaurant and a bar, which served food. We chose the latter and were quite happy with the selection of meals available. It has a marked walk in their rear grounds, which we did, and were lucky to see glossy black Cockatoos in the wild. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, it's only 40 mins to the ferry, so very convenient.

Great place to stay in Kingscote. Good hot water, great location, laundry in the room and a very helpful staff. They gave us a cot when I realized I booked the wrong room. They couldn't have been more helpful

Very comfortable stay, great bed with lovely bedding. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for cooking. Quiet, nice outdoor area and washer and dryer a great addition.

Situated in Emu Bay, Emu Bay Holiday Homes features self-catering accommodation in 2 cabins, 2 cottages, 3 houses and an apartment. We had a fabulous stay at Emu Bay Holiday Homes. The views from the room are just spectacular - seeing the sunrise and moonrise over the bay is just breathtaking. Super quiet area with koalas and kangaroos on/around the property! Apartment was incredibly clean with everything you would need provided. It's a 15 minute drive to Kingscote and given collision risk to wildlife at night, we took takeaway dinners on our way back before dusk every evening and ate on the little front patio watching the moon rise over the bay - incredibly peaceful and relaxing. Easy to access any part of the island from here including the national park. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful stay - would highly recommend! Stay here for your KI holiday.

Offering a barbecue, Villas on the Bay Kingscote is located in Kingscote. All units are air conditioned and have a flat-screen TV. Some units include a seating area and/or terrace. We loved our stay - the kitchen was well equipped, you couldn’t need more. Big bathroom, the beds were comfy. Parking space is next to the house and the owner was very friendly. Sadly just stayed there for one night.

Good sea and valley views, and close to the ocean in a marine conservation habitat. 1. We are centrally located on Kangaroo island to base your stay and tour the whole Island from. 2. Everything. Cozy 2 bedroom apartment with very comfy bed and good internet connection. Perfect view. American river is a little gem.

Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island is a boutique, adults-only (12+ years) luxury retreat. The 250-acre coastal estate offers stunning ocean views, wildlife and a pristine, secluded beach. The food was wonderful. And having everything served in the room was great for COVID precautions; and meant you could eat on the great deck with views over the wildlife and the bay. It was fun having kangaroos bouncing around the property every morning and evening.
