I stayed in the female only dorm, and it was so nice to have my own little pod bed with a curtain for some privacy, and a generous size locker (can fit a big backpack). The bathrooms were clean and well equipped. The communal area is really nice and welcoming and you can purchase things like croissants and drinks at the counter. They also allow you to store your leftovers from restaurants in the fridge, which I found really helpful and considerate! I will definitely be staying there again next time I am in Amsterdam!

There is a garden and library, and free Wi-Fi is available. The staff was helpful and kind. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were clean. The lockers were spacious. The kitchen was well-equipped. It was quite far away from the centre, but had a train/metro station right next to it, so that was really convenient

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in and I have stayed in a lot all over the world. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms have kept all the beautiful original features of it's days as a moving train but showers, toilets and common areas were tip top modern, comfortable and user friendly.
