It was so so clean and smelt clean. It had everything one could want. Right in the heart of Le Crotoy which is a lovely place to visit. Especially the steam railway that runs from Le Crotoy to St Valery sur Somme

The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed. The host was really friendly & gave us a lot of useful information about the area. It's so conveniently located too, close to the water and a short walk to the town centre.

We have been about 11 times to this area and it suits young and old. If you like a quiet and tranquil holiday then this is for you. It is a painters paradise and for lovers of nature too. Everything is on your doorstep as it is a small town. Quite a few events going on in summer that are interesting. Seafood restaurants and good old ice-cream and burgers if you fancy that. Great steam train ride and a boat trip to see the seals.

Le Crotoy is a lovely little seaside town on the Bay of the Somme. It has a slight air of faded glory which is really charming, perhaps it has seen better days but I really loved its vintage ambience and authentic fishing village vibe. It has some great, updated seafood restaurants and the locals are utterly charming and polite. I have never had so many cars stop for me to cross the street as here. It feels like it is being discovered by Parisians and might be the new Paris sur Mer so I suggest you go there now while it retains an air of innocence and affordability. You need a car to get there but everything within the town is walkable.

I can hardly comment as most of the restaurants and shops are closed at the time I visited (January).
It makes it a relaxing experience but plan ahead and bring your own stuff.
A few shops are open though and buying food has not been an issue.

Lovely little seaside town.
Lovely little seaside town. Stayed close by before for a week and loved it then. Great bars and restaurants especially if you love French fresh fish dishes. A few lovely shops selling local goods and food. Superb views across the bay. Bird watchers would love this place. You could easily stay a week and find plenty to do in the area. I would recommend this town as a base.

Town is a maze of small streets and one way systems
but you get used to it
Major Problem every street around the entire town and beach areas
has parking meters and you do not get the customary free lunch time
Fantastic location, we love Le Crotoy and great to find somewhere dog friendly and really lucky to find a parking space where we could see the car as must admit won’t leave it anywhere and it did get many looks ! The appt is very well equipped and lovely decor, Will be booking again for next year, same room, and the room next door for family, absolutely love it, having spent many holidays in France, this place has everything you need for dining in (my husband is a great chef) or dining out, would thoroughly recommend Villa des Sarcelles x
We were in town (Le Crotoy) for "La Fete de la Vapeur" and the house was perfectly situated on a quiet side street near restaurants, shops and the pier/oceanfront. The house is spotlessly clean and modern with plenty of space. There is a little backyard space with a barbeque. The bedrooms upstairs have views of the gardens in the neighborhood and the beds are very comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer!
The view, so peaceful within walking distance to restaurants in this typical French costal village
The charming apartment has everything you need to cook, parking is a few steps away and from there you can access directly to the apartments level without using the stairway . Owner is so nice and helpful
Joan of Arc was held in prison there.
The location of the place, from the living room window there is only one thing to be looked at...la Baie de Somme, which is I guess why you go there in the first place.
The appartment being literally on the seashore, it takes you less than 30 seconds to have a walk on the beach.
We stayed one night and were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff.
The location was just perfect. Close to restaurants and the bay and also ideal for strolling through Le Crotoy.
We also enjoyed the varied continental breakfast served as a buffet.
Location is fabulous, great view over the estuary, central location for restaurants / shops. Small hotel, appears to be only three rooms. Hotel terrace bar is popular and vibrant. Staff were friendly and tried hard especially the girls at breakfast.
The gite was really lovely. Everything was spotless, it was really well equipped and it was a short walk to the centre of Le Crotoy. Bikes were also provided by the owners which was particularly handy for us as our car had broken down!
A very welcoming, charming and friendly hotel. Breakfast was great with a good choice of teas, omelette, fresh bread, croissants, cakes, yoghurt, cheeses and charcuterie, not to mention scrumptious jams and marmalades!
Well located in the middle of Le Crotoy. Spacious studio with very comfortable bed. The host Nicole is incredibly kind and helpful and makes wonderful breakfast! Free parking in the garden of the property.
The best thing about the apartment is the balcony overlooking the bay and the beach. It is also very near the centre of Le Crotoy within easy walking distance of restaurants. And it has a secure car park.
