I was in Chania for 4 days and it wasn’t enough for me.
I was in Chania for 4 days and it wasn’t enough for me. I’d recommend At least 5. The medieval town is breathtaking, you can walk through time travel on cobblestone streets that narrow and get a half liter of wine for 5 euros each and have dinner made my locals family for 5 euro. I ate a gourmet dinner on the boardwalk with a carafe of wine dinner for 2 only 65 euros and it was the most amazing food I have ate in my life. I highly recommend.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Stunning place, wonderful people and delicious food. Nea Chora beach is fantastic and there are many restaurants and cafés to choose from. I love to go before and after the high season. Easy to rent a car and drive around, the driving experience was fantastic, good roads and signals. People drive sensibly and there is free parking all over the island with no tolls at all.

The old town is lovely full of independent stores selling leather goods, clothes etc. Eat at one of the restaurants overlooking the port and lighthouse for fantastic views. We loved the Venetian port and the Old Town. One of our favourite places was a restaurant called Paradisiaco in the upper part of the port on Theotokopoulou Street. Its a quiet, mountainside/seaside town with amazing food. I dont think I had one bad meal there. The beaches are amazing and the water is a crystal clear green/blue. I'm sure there are lots of activities and things to do involving hiking and snorkeling. If you're looking for lots of shopping from big retail, I dont think this is the place for you. We had a two bedroom suite which was just the right size for our group of four. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of the old town. The best restaurants, shops, cafes and pubs are all within walking distance. We also greatly enjoyed the rooftop breakfasts each morning which overlook the harbor and the old town. it was a wonderful four day visit. We would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Chania.

The hotel is near to a main road with bus stops but is set far enough back from the road to be peaceful. The swimming pool and restaurant are so clean and the food is very good.
