Afroditi is an excellent host and she really cares about their guests. There was not a single wish of ours that wasn't fulfilled. The apartment was super clean and it was refreshed every day! Not even to mention the view of the whole Agia Efimia village from this cute balcony! higly recommended for families with children!

Pictures very true. The property was spacious, had a lovely terrace which got the morning sun and in a great location - quiet but central to lots of nice restaurants. Agia Effimia was much prettier than expected. It made a great base to explore the north of the island. The host provided essentials like shower gel & shampoo, which was superb when you are travelling light.

Hara's villa is in a superb location, just 10 minutes walk into the picturesque harbour village with plenty of restaurants, shops, bars, activities.
The village has a nice laid back feel and is no way a "strip" you'd find in Ayia Napa. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The ground and upper floor balconies have sea, village and mountain views. Absolutely gorgeous to wake up to and we're missing it already. Pretty birds, bugs, cats and bats around.
Comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen with more than anyone will ever need (even food processor, Nespresso machine, filter coffee machine, ice bucket, loads of crockery, serving bowls etc). Lovely patio area outside with parasol and table and chairs, as well as a large covered BBQ area with table and chairs. Working air conditioning throughout.
Hara is a very friendly and kind host who couldn't do enough for us letting us borrow things of hers not already at the villa.
We would not hesitate to say at Villa Hara again.
Thanks for a fabulous holiday Hara! x

A small but lovely village with several amazing bakeries (...
A small but lovely village with several amazing bakeries (especially daily art with the nicest people) and strawberry bakery (open til gone midnight!). The beaches are pleasant, with white pebbles and blue sea. Very small mind, one being almost an alcove so can only accommodate small numbers of people before feeling too crowded. There are also several taverna's and a couple of gift shops too, one of which I can't remember the name of but the woman serving was a delight. It was in good distance to pretty much everything on the island really worth seeing if you haven't got a rental car; antisamos beach €30 taxi, myrtos Beach €3.60 buses, melissani cave lake €15, assos €3.60 buses (same as the ones to myrtos Beach, a bus from the village centre €1 then a minibus picks you up for €2.60 to get to both places).(all prices are lowest we could find, all single journeys). Sami is next town along but not as good as ayia effimia in my opinion. Felt like a very safe welcoming village with a good amount of ruralness, nestled in the lush green mountains of kefalonia with ample hiking trails and a bicycle hire in Sami. We ate at a taverna called the local but it didn't meet our expectations as the food wasn't amazing. Something to consider if visiting antisamos beach (scene from captain correlis mandolin) is getting to Sami for €15 then walking around the mountains, about an hours walk, to the beach on the other side. Mind the cars, but it smells of pine and has incredible views. It also saves a €30 round trip! Finally, the whole of kefalonia have so many cats, so many will come and give fuss 😺

It was a good base to explore the island.
It was a good base to explore the island. There are plenty of food options in the main port area and beyond along the coast.
Short drive to Sami. I recommend Mirtos beach if you don’t have a fear of heights on the drive and walk down. It gets busy so bring your own umbrella and beach mat.
Luckily the waterside appartments provide for free to use.
Take the the drive to Agrostolion. Worth visiting the Pattiserie on the seafront.
Be careful on the roads and let people pass at safe locations. The roads can be a little terrifying in places.
A perfect place to stay to explore Kefalonia. Both the apartment and outside areas were spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble for Aphrodite, she couldn’t be more helpful if she tried. The views of the sea and village from the apartment were amazing. Plenty of parking outside and just a short walk to the village with many restaurants to choose from. Pool was great and lots of places to swim in the sea nearby also. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back.
What a quirky, cute and unusual accommodation.
It was super well appointed and had a really good view over the town and harbour. The twinkling lights at night, were so pretty!
Lots of outdoor seating for al fresco dining or just soaking in the view.
Location was great and convenient to get to anywhere in Kefalonia and the neighbouring islands, with Sami Port, a short drive away.
The beds were comfortable and the hosts very friendly and knowledgeable.
The apartment is absolutely beautiful!!!!! We were so impressed with it and felt so good staying there. It was super clean, very modern, and had everything. The bathroom and shower were amazing. We loved the bed, sofa, closet, and balcony. The design overall was so nice and exactly how you see in the photos. And the cleaning lady was the kindest, most loving person. ❤️If we come back to Kefalonia, we will definitely stay here again!!
The apartment is big and comfortable enough for two people. The position is excellent, perfect for a walk around Agia (restaurants, supermarkets, bars...) and for reaching the best beaches of Kefalonia, but at the same time very quiet at night. There's no private parking, but even in August we had no problem with parking the car close to the apartment. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming (and speak perfect Italian!)
We stayed for one night but I wish we had a few more days to spend here. Stavros is such a nice and friendly person. He was very helpful and made us feel like home. He even gave us an umbrella before sending us to Myrtos Beach 😃 Our apartment was on the second floor with an amazing see and garden view. The room was nice and clean but needs some update. The bathroom was renovated. We would definitely stay here again.
Great hotel, beautiful view of the bay from the balcony (especially moon rise and moonlight over the bay-so romantic!), outstanding breakfast, great staff. Shoutout to the handsome guy at the reception desk who made us smile every day. The hotel is not luxurious but it has absolutely everything you may need. Easy to find parking on the street or in one of the free city parking lots. It’s right downtown.
The room was meticulously clean and big, including a huge comfy bed. The views from the balcony were lovely and the location was very central in Agia Efimia, close to plenty of restaurants and a small "beach" to finish the day off with a swim.
Despite a few dislikes mentioned below, overall we had a great stay in this lovely little hotel in a cute little seaside village.
Nicole Studios is situated in the center of Agia Efimia(about 100 meters from the first restaurants and cafes). It has very confortable, newly furnished room that have all the facilities that you need. The owner is a very nice and kind lady, that will help you out with everything you need. I recommend this place 10/10.
Lovely penthouse apartment that had amazing panoramic views over the Agia Effimia harbour. Huge bedroom and living area with air con, just what we needed! Johnny was great at communicating with us and organised a very efficient airport transfer. We had a fantastic time in Kefalonia and would definitely return.
The hospitality of these guys is amazing!
They provide you all you need for a perfect stay in Kefalonia. They have excellent bedrooms, an amazing restaurant and they rent cars too. All with very fair prices.
I completely recommend them to everyone visiting the paradisiac island of Kefalonia.
Beautiful room and location. Host Evi had supplied everything that anyone could want from welcome sweets, and snacks to a bottle of local wine, beer, soft drinks and juice. She was always asking if there was anything she could do to make our time in Kefalonia and her apartments better.
Mema’s appartement is perfectly located to visit Cephalonua island. Agia Efimia is an authentic place where it is good to stay with a lot of varois restaurant options. The flat is simple and has everything you need + a pool as a great highlight! Many thanks also to the great hosts!
The owner is very friendly and polite. He did everything for us to have a nice stay. There are umbrellas and other beach equipment to use. The rooms are big, well equipped and have a balcony with a nice view. I would definitely recommend to stay here for vacations on Kefalonia.
Exceptional accommodation - immaculately clean and very comfortable. Apartments are very well equipped and all furnishings are of a high standard.
Evi the owner cannot do enough for you. Very kind lady. Accommodation is far superior to many hotels requesting higher prices !
Lovely villa in a great location. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The host was very kind and friendly. Lovely location to explore lots of Kefalonia's highlights. Short walk to the harbour restaurants and shops. Great pool area with lots of sunbeds. Recommended.
The location is second to none, although apartments on the other side of the block are close to the main road in/ out of Agia Effimia.
There’s a beautiful terrace/ gardens for all guest to use. Stavros and his team worked so hard to make the short stay perfect.
It is a beautiful apartment in a lovely village. By car to famous Myrtos beach only 10min. The accommodation was very nice with a modern style. Big terrace ideal for breakfast. Distance to bakery, restaurants, and bars is only a few minutes by walk.
Great view, very clean hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, lovely clear water on beach across the road, good restaurants nearby, Agia Efimia is a great little place. Not far from Myrtos and Antisamos beaches, either. Would definitely stay again.
This property was perfect for our stay. From the first day we arrived we were greeted by George and Maria with a kefalonian dish and a beautiful hamper. The house had everything we needed.
