Everything was amazing. Everything i needed for a relaxing break. Special mention to Abbie in the spa who gave me the most amazing massage and facial and made me feel completely relaxed. Everyone i came across from the lovely gentleman on arrival to greet me, to the receptionists, the food and beverage staff and the cleaners, were absolutely lovely and made a real effort and always smiling.

The hotel was quiet and situated in an interesting location. There were on-site keep fit facilities, a dining room overlooking the water, and a well stocked bar. For me though, the exceptional feature of the hotel was the attitude of the staff: they were obviously happy in their work and this showed in all aspects of what they did. They were quietly efficient, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot commend them highly enough!

In 38 acres of peaceful grounds, just 15 minutes from Chester, this beautifully preserved Edwardian manor has a fantastic restaurant, free Wi-Fi, a log fire and charming individually decorated rooms.
