The rooms were well presented and clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was lovely.
The staff were definitely the highlight though, warm and welcoming and so accommodating to us as we arrived later than the reception was open until but stayed to allow us to check in.
Absolutely lovely hotel in a fantastic location, will be here again!

Really lovely town centre.
Really lovely town centre. It felt safe and clean with a mixture of independent and large shops.
Has easy access to the beach and the addition of the hidden dinosaurs is really sweet especially if you have a little one obsessed with dinosaurs

Nice seafront, looks more upmarket than some seaside resorts.
Plenty of places to eat and drink although watch out for pubs closing early out of season. Beginning of May and the harbour pub closed at 10pm.
Love floating restaurant Exe Cafe, but have to book well in advance.

I used to live here so very happy to return for a more lane visit. It is an ideal place for families with good safe beaches, good travel facilities for access to other areas of Devon by bus or train, especially to Exeter’s excellent shopping. Not the most interesting of towns but good middle of the road unpretentious place to visit & enjoy.

Exmouth itself is an attractive holiday resort for all the family. Superb sandy beach with many facilities, wide range of hotels and restaurants, railway and buses. Many restaurants serve a wide variety of fish menus. One is able to walk and walk and enjoy the variety of houses, streets, special buildings, the market and the coffee/snack outlets. An extremely satisfactory area for all ages, albeit rather steep roads if one walks from the sea front upwards.

Excellent town in a beautiful part of the country.
Excellent town in a beautiful part of the country. Hotel was lovely and we had a relaxing stay. Staff friendly and helpful and even the weather was fine!
Exeter at Christmas is lovely but beware of traffic congestion!
Food was Good, although they were 'out' of a quite a few options. Had dinner, bed and breakfast, which worked well and was well organised. Staff were good in restaurant. Room was a really good size, and clean, but the hotel does look tired and is in need of some work. Eg, some stairs had carpet, which was threadbare, whilst the next flight had no carpet!
Had the junior suit, but really it was a family room, as it had a bunk bed in the second area, so wasn't what we expected. Should have just booked a double room.
Lovely location a few minutes from the beach with manor gardens all so close, great room and very pleasant staff.
Very reasonably priced hotel room for what we got. If I was going to Exmouth again I would use it.
We didn't eat at the hotel as we aren't big breakfast people but I'm sure it was lovely.
So close to nice restaurants and the town. The station was so close we had a day trip to Exeter (half hour train). I'd recommend the ice cream on the seafront too.
The location of the hotel is undoubtedly the best selling point.
You are two minutes from the promenade.
You are a five minute walk into town.
A lovely park next door.
The road behind the hotel is steep (yes it’s steep) but the views from up there are phenomenal.
Big spacious car park.
Breakfast, big & plenty
Rooms very comfortable, clean & tidy.
Bar was relaxing.
Dog friendly 🐶
Restaurant was delicious.
Friendly staff, very helpful.
Setting is stunning, size of suite was really great !
The free parking that's available was good and appreciated after a long drive.
Decided to stay longer in Devon but the hotel was fully booked for the second night so had to go somewhere else (not as good)
Loved the kitchen area with a hob, a large microwave and a fridge..
Loved the breakfast which was included in the price ! Amazing
Lovely, comfortable and modern apartment with private parking space in an excellent location for getting around Exmouth easily - just a short walk from the sea, shops and train station. The agency was helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay (especially the nice sunsets seen from the living room/terrace) and would definitely be happy to stay here again.
The location is excellent for exploring the surrounding beauty of south Devon whilst enjoying Exmouth in its full. The apartment's were excellent, exceptionally clean and came fully equipped for for a long holiday or even as we did a long weekend. The hosts could not do enough for you , we are already looking to go back early in the new year.
The hotel is in a good position and the public areas very spacious. The breakfast was nice but average in comparison with recent stays on our tour of Cornwall and Devon, where we had far superior accommodation in what we would deem more expensive areas, for less money. The cleanliness was perfectly good with good measures in place.
We had a lovely stay, our room turned out to be a two bedroom apartment with full kitchen facilities overlooking beautiful gardens and the beach. The hotel is very conveniently located for the beach and town with no problem parking. Staff were all amazing. Mid week menu was limited but adequate and good value for money.
The staff were exceptional, so warm and welcoming and we were upgraded for free as it was my birthday. That was such a lovely touch. Hotel was stunning and also views would have been if it were not for the rain and we arrived when it was dark. Hope to stay longer next time to explore properly.
This was ideally located for what I needed as I was needing to stay in central Exmouth to attend a funeral and visit family. I was travelling by myself so although it’s a completely separate private annex, it was ideal that the owners were just next door if I needed them.
Lovely hotel with a grate location to local shops, restaurant and pub and bus stop
Beautiful art within the building of original building and location in the olden times
Gorgeous view of the sea from room 25
Amazing sized bath and shower
You know what you get with a garden room. Great price, not as big or comfortable as a hotel. The room was clean. Friendly owner. We could use the garden and did not see anyone else there. Near enough to Exmouth and beach (15 minute walk).
The accomodation was very comfortable, it was like home from home. Everything you needed was there and a pleasant surprise to have milk, tea & biscuits left for us. Exmouth is a great place.
Easy parking, nice big comfortable hotel at a very good price. Lovely building, must have a lot of history.
Nice comfortable bar where we sat with family in the evening.
Great location to explore Exmouth and easy access to other parts of Devon. Great communication from host and very helpful. Quiet block with plenty of things to do nearby.
Great place to stay, easy walking distance of town centre and surrounded by great pubs, cafe's and restaurants. Really comfy clean stay, garage is an additional bonus.
