Nice location, nice breakfast, lovely Romanian front of house lady who I hope is being properly rewarded and treated, as she was one of the best things about the place

This lovely little gem is probably the best place to stay in the area.
The host's Helen & Nigel have made everything as welcoming and perfect as you could hope for.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the room was spotless and very comfortable with all amenities and a fantastic bathroom.
Delicious breakfast with vegetarian options.
Helen and Nigel are the loveliest people, very professional but equally down to earth and friendly.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Clyde View to anyone visiting the area.
Thankyou for a really wonderful 3 days.

Offering barbecue facilities and mountain view, 24 Glenfinart Park is located in Dunoon, 18 km from Benmore Botanic Garden and 8.7 km from Blairmore and Strone Golf Glub.
Dunoon is still developing as a destination. It is however a good base for travelling around Argyle and the Cowal peninsula. There are plenty of ferry links relatively to allow travel on Bute, The Mull of Kintyre and on to Arran as well as the link to Inverclyde. We were there for two half days but managed to see Puck's Glen and the Benmore Botanic Gardens, both well worth a visit.
Had a nice sit in Fish Supper beforwe going to a concert in the Burgh Halls. Burgh Halls was a good venue

Beautiful town with gorgeous scenery.
Beautiful town with gorgeous scenery. The Castle Museum is well worth a visit as the staff are very knowledgeable and welcoming. The history of Dunoon is fascinating. The Lorne Inn is a great place to eat but there are plenty of other places too. Puck’s Glen with waterfall walk is nearby and the Botanic Garden is close by also. Dunoon is handy for the ferries to Gourock and the Isle of Bute.

I found Dunoon to be a pleasant and friendly town with all the amenities i needed. Cowal is a beautiful part of Scotland with tremendous opportunities for outdoor recreation. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys the outdoors, yet is close to Glasgow and its amenities.

A trip to Benmore gardens was worthwhile and the surrounding area is outstandingly beautiful. Dunoon it.self is beginning to feel a bit run down and neglected, very limited eating options at night even at the weekend where you strugle to find anywhere after 8pm still serving food apart from carry out food .

Dunoon is a lovely little town that needs to advertise its wares much more effectively. In particular opportunities for walking in the surrounding countryside. There is a reasonable range of shops and places to eat but opening times are too restricted to attract more tourists.
Only 5 mins walk from the foot passenger ferry terminal.
Ideal setting right on the esplanade thus the name lol.
Positioned perfectly for lovely walks and always people walking with or without dogs say hello.
The hotel itself is wonderful and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful.
Breakfast and dinners are great as is the overall service, very friendly.
I booked 3 nights but ended up staying 4 and have already booked another week in September, can't wait.
Absolutely fabulous breakfast. Choices to fit every need and well prepared! The room was comfortable, bed exquisite, slept like a baby. The bonus family room was so comfortable after a long day. Nice to watch TV on a comfortable sofa. Alison and Drew were available to answer any questions, provide suggestions for dinner and had a great taxi service available if we wanted a drink at dinner. Everything was comfortable, relaxing and exceeded our expectations on every level!
The location is perfect for travelling in and around the Argyll and Bute area, the accommodation is just a minute away from the Greenock ferry making it an ideal base. The stable studio has its own access and is very private, it has everything you need to help you enjoy your stay, certainly a step up from a B & B or a standard hotel room.
The wildlife in and around the gardens was also amazing.
Everything, very beautiful hotel setting with lots of short easily accessible walks from the property to wake up with. The staff were superb, couldn't be more welcoming. Great shower and very comfy bed. Tastefully decorated and lovely bar area too. Both breakfast and our evening meal were also excellent. No complaints at all infact but I think the friendly staff really made it.
Beautiful location with lovely views of the Clyde. Large home with large living room and kitchen. Garden and views were lovely. The area was up the hill in a quiet and calm area, only 15 minutes walk to the centre of Dunoon, or 10 minutes to the promenade. Host was extremely attentive. Would definitely recommend and hope I get the occasion to stay here again!
The Whistlefield Inn was a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful location. The staff was friendly, helpful and accomodating in this historic inn. The rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable and the location lends itself to some great hikes and exploring the towns in the area. An extremely relaxing stay.
Good location with parking and nice views across Holy Loch. Spotlessly clean, well decorated and equipped. Drew and Alison could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the friendly advice about the area most helpful. Will definitely say here again next time we visit Dunoon.
The owners were unbelievably hospitable, I've stayed in this area every year for the past 25, years but normally in Hotels, but never will again, from now on its the Clyde View, immaculate room, immaculate on suite and just totally clean, cant recommend highly enough.
Booked this property for 3 of our guys who were working in the area recently. Feedback from them was all good. So much so that they wanted to return the following week, unfortunately the property was fully booked. Good contact from the host prior to arrival.
The Park hotel was in an ideal location, on the edge of Dunoon. It was clean and comfortable, with really good breakfast options. Mehmet and the other staff were all really helpful, and made our stay an enjoyable one.
Comfortable cabin with two bedrooms, main bathroom and en-suite toilet. Good kitchen and family area. Located in beautiful surroundings no matter what the weather is like. Highly recommended.
A beautiful location - looking over Loch Eck. A very comfortable stay in the hotel with good food in the restaurant and (just as the description said): a fabulous breakfast.
