Delicious breakfast and really friendly staff, and it's a beautiful, historic pub in a stunning location too. I'm only saddened that I didn't get the exact room I booked, as I was really looking forward to staying in the four-poster bedroom as a special treat! If I'm back down there hopefully I'll get the room I paid for!

Breakfast really lovely and served in a beautiful dining room. Good choice of cooked breakfast but for me the lovely plate of fruit served with yogurt and honey was my perfect start.
Loved the garden sitting there watching the dogs play and enjoying a cup of tea. Also appreciated the three lovely restaurants we were recommended and where we enjoyed our excellent evening meals.
Anna is a very special host who looked after us perfectly.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area.
Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre.
We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Beautiful place to visit, walk around, shop, eat and drink and enjoy the incredible architecture
Take your camera. There's lots to photograph.
Fantastic Garden Centre just outside is also worth a visit with lots of stores of other items and clothing. The restaurant is excellent.
Great location just off the High Street. One of the biggest benefits was being allowed an early check in time which meant we could explore Burford.
All staff were extremely polite and helpful.
We had a great evening meal and the food was delicious. The soufflé special was divine.
Breakfast was even better, with a great selection on your table and the full English was really tasty and well presented.
With such a selection of pubs / hotels then for a short stay I can highly recommend staying at The Angel.
We stayed in this hotel after a fishing trip to avoid a late night trip home. The location is great on Burford High Street so you can experience the local pubs and the locals, which is interesting.
Check-in was dead easy and the room absolutely perfect. Very clean and comfortable twin room with plenty of space and a lot of character for a great price. The breakfast was absolutely excellent, full English breakfast served up hot and quickly with tea and coffee.
It's a beautiful building and the warm atmosphere and decor inside the hotel is perfect. The roaring fire places were a joy on the coldest week so far this winter. The welcome at check-in was equally warm and friendly and the staff were excellent throughout my stay. I had an evening meal and breakfast and the food was delicious. With the beautiful village of Burford on the doorstep it really couldn't get much better, I only wish I'd been staying there longer.
I have always wanted to stay at the Lambs Inn in Burford, as we have been to the Cotswolds in the past. I remember walking by the hotel and peaking in the window and seeing a lovely room, thinking to myself . . . “oh how lovely!” Reality wasn’t disappointing! 🥰. I love the beautiful, charming, mix of old world European structure with modern day comforts. The mixture was bucolic and inviting. The staff was very nice and helpful.
I loved the location of the property close to Burfords main street but out of the way in the countryside. The breakfast was exceptional with pastries to start followed by breakfast of your choice! The beer garden was my favourite part of this hotel just so peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
having tried over the past 4 to 5 years to book we finally made it unfortunately they only had one night available. on entering the angle at burford we where greeted from a member of there staff with a very welcoming hello we new we had booked a very professional establishment.
Excellent check in service, nothing to much trouble for the very helpful staff, fantastic location and extremely charming and quaint hotel had a wonderful stay, although no parking at hotel it self ( Which is clearly stated on website) parking throughout Burford is free
Lovely, clean, comfortable. Pretty hotel with nice views. Very helpful staff. The coffee in the breakfast room wasn't that good, but not that big a deal. We'd definitely recommend it. Had a lot of the charm of an old hotel but the niceness of a new one.
The Cottage is wonderful in all aspects...Comfy, clean and well furnished and equipped.
The location is so peaceful however you are only 10 minutes from Burford shops and restaurants, and less than
that to the wonderful Carpenters arms.
Absolutely lovely Inn in a perfect location by a river and close to beautiful villages of the Cotswolds. The staff were brilliant and the food was second to none. The place was spotlessly clean and very well managed.
Superb hotel set in beautiful countryside. Very comfortable and spacious rooms, delicious food, helpful and friendly staff. Lovely walks in the area, peaceful countryside, yet close to quaint villages like Burford
Very cozy and clean cottage, excellent location, there is nothing not to like about the Burford House. Lots of Extras, Christmas tree and indoor and outdoor Christmas lights were up during our stay.
The location was very good and the staff friendly particularly at breakfast. Good choice of food for breakfast . Several hand sanitisers around the hotel and tables in the restaurant are well spaced
We stayed in the small house which is attached to the hotel and it was great and well equipped. The location is in a good place on the high street. The hotel was quiet and cozy.
