The hotel was lovely. Our room was fairly basic, and small, but had nice touches (fabrics etc), and we had a large bathroom. the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. There was lots of parking. The village is very nice, and it is conveniently close to Cheverny Chateau

We really enjoyed staying in a rural area. The chateau was amazing and we even saw a declaration signed by George Washington. We had some great meals from pizza to crepes to a 5 star meal. This is a small town but so special.

The personal items and family connection with the Chateau made the visit very welcoming. Grounds were beautiful. The food in the Orange House was very good. The feeding of the hunting dogs was interesting.

The, dinner and breakfast were superb. The hotel is next to Chateau de Cheverny, very close to Chateau de Chambord. It's location in the Loire Valley is an excellent spot to stop and enjoy excellent food , some of the best I've ever had, explore the region full of history and breathtaking chateaux. The greeting is always warm and we know our regular visits are valued even using our bad French. The evening meal is always excellent and incredible value but go hungry as the portions are very generous. The owner is the head chef, many of his staff have been with him for many years and the new staff exhibit the same ethos as he does, the customer matters and nothing is too much trouble.

The petit dejeuner was a normal one for a 4 star Hotel ( do not forget to ask for an expresso, as only Black Coffee is served at the table- but because this is the French style). Lovely and eager to come back.
