Located in a quiet part of town . Large clean room - quiet with firm mattress as requested. Shower good . Everything kept very clean.
Breakfast was in the ground floor room - self service but monitored by a friendly staff member, constantly refreshing the food and drinks.
A cafe/bar was open in the evening, but this was run by a different company - good selection of simple snacks and food - staff friendly

The location is both an advantage and disadvantage. It's on the main square with a great view of the castle but the downside was the appalling noise into the early hours.
The owners are kept extremely busy running the bar downstairs so there is minimal engagement with guests. Interactions were business like - but that's it. It is very reasonably priced so if you dont mind noise and indifferent service this is the place for you.
Located in the centre of this Navarran village, Parador de Olite boasts a fabulous location in a 15th-century castle.

Perfect location in the centre of Olite being part of the magnificent castle. Comfy room with traditional “enclosed” balcony. Very friendly and helpful reception staff.

Room we had was smaller than the photo shown but still very nice.
As some others have commented the bathrooms were in need of refreshing but still very serviceable
The roof top terrace was an absolute bonus really nice space for an evening drink
We didn’t eat in the restaurant but had tapas in the bar area, they were very good.
Good range of wines and very reasonably priced.
We had breakfast one morning and was very good as d again reasonably priced.
The staff were very friendly ( some have commented on their rudeness) perhaps it was we tried to communicate in Spanish.
No lift to the rooms ,would prove difficult if you have mobility issues.
The building itself was a beautiful old restored building.
Parked outside the town walls for free, no parking within, was only a short walk to the hotel

Spacious house (3 double bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, all on one level); like a Tardis 😊 , secure parking, second kitchen (!). 5 mins walk into town, lots of bars, cafes, restaurants etc but beware Sunday nights as limited restaurants open. Old town surrounded by vineyards and Bodegas. Delightful all round. Would be great for motorcycles with secure parking.
This was our second time in Olite. The old centre is compact with plenty of interest. Great selection of places to eat, drink and people watch; we had an excellent supper in the Bar Ducay (corner of Rúa de Medios and Plaza Carlos III). Good base for those interested in Spanish wines - highly recommend the Bodegas Ochoa, Calle de Miranda de Arga 35.

Olite is a lovely place to stay for those wanting to soak up the old architecture, cobbled streets, slow pace of life and just relax. Also ideal for stocking up on the Navarra wine and taking drives out along the designated Wine Routes.
The hostal is on a quiet sidestreet in the lovely old town of Olite. We had a top floor room with castle view, comfy bed, and whirlpool bath for a very reasonable price Check in was somewhat curious as the front desk is not manned in the afternoon/evening check in period (entrance is by code box) but the ladies are there in the morning for breakfast (delicious and at a reasonable price) and are friendly and personable.
This was my third stay at this hotel and it was wonderful. My room had a view of the castle, nice size bathroom and spa tub. What more could I ask for! Check in was easy. Although we arrived around 1pm our rooms were ready early and we were able to check in. Checking out was quick and easy too. Overall another wonderful stay. Our friends had 2 other rooms types and they were also quite happy with their stay.
The hotel is in a beautiful old building on a very nice quiet Scenic Street in the old town. My room had an enclosed balcony which was wonderfully Scenic from the street. The hotel kept the kitchen open for us for a late lunch at 3:00 p.m. and the food was good. The breakfast was very good and very reasonably priced. The location of the hotel is great, very close to the Santa Maria Church and the old royal castle.
Great location, just a 5-min walk to the historic district of Olite, which is lively and interesting. The apartment itself is in a quiet neighborhood, with easy street parking and a nearby playground. The apartment is spacious and filled with natural light. It feels very comfortable. The host was kind and responsive.
Beautiful location on lovely square in front of castle. Nice breakfast outside in morning. Jessica (i think) was very helpful. Told us about a great restaurant and a winery. Room was simple but comfy. Air conditioner worked, bathroom was well equipped. Wifi worked.
The perfect place to base yourself to visit navarra. Olite is beautiful and the parador spectacular. Service, details, comfort. An enchanting place. I sent pics to my grandkids and they telephoned me asking for “your royal highness.” I had the laugh of the trip.
Amazing room! Very nice and helpful staff! Very good value for money. If you have big suitcase, just think about that this city has only parking outside the old town (for free though), and you have to carry everything with you to the hotel.
Very clean and friendly informal hotel. Great location for us, about 5 min walk.into town. 100 yards from a bodega where we tasted and bought some great wine. Small but very clean pool in lovely garden. Would definitely recommend.
Totally worthy stay, beautiful beds, and best view of Olite right in the central square facing the castle . Quiet clean comfy all u can expect for a perfect sleep and cultural visit.
Great location right next to amazingly restored castle. Lovely little medieval town that was a complete surprise. Room was spacious and comfy. Nice restaurant.
Service was fabulous!! We enjoyed the hotel very much. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant and a great big breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
