WE liked the spread of the breakfast as well as the dinner menu was very nice, and the taste was good. We liked the idea of having a fixed table for us, so we can go and use the same table during our stay. The dinner was lovely.

Superbly convenient location for skiing.
Superbly convenient location for skiing. But Mayrhofen is only a 9 minutes' bus ride away, and it is itself directedly connected to the skiing area by two big cable cars, so staying there is a serious, realistic option.

Didn't like - Finkenberg is a rather cramped resort on a hill, making it somewhere you may not feel inclined to wander around.

Beautiful small town up in the mountains, sunny and quiet at the bottom of a very big ski domajn and not to far from the glacier Tux.
Shops close very early (latest 18:00), helps you save good money on things you don’t need.
There are a few restaurants along the main road, good food and not very pricey. Reservation may be neccesary in high season. There is also a nice apres ski at the bottom station of the cable car, in the town if you like to party in your ski clothes.
Mayrhofen is a short drive away and roughly 20 km away there is an amazing aqua park well worth visiting (20 eur/adult 10/ kid <15 yo for 3 hrs of various pools and sauna)

The nature surroundings are beautiful and easily accessible...
The nature surroundings are beautiful and easily accessible using cable-ways. One can choose trips (hikes or by a bike) with different difficulty. I can also recommend carefully and interestingly developed nature trail with explanations on the boards (a close Lanersbach area), the glacier over Hintertux, countless combinations of various trips around Hintertux, a waterfall trip, trips between Lanersbach and Vorderlanersbach, and many others. From Pankenjoch, many trips are available if one prefers developed easier paths (usually, many people are there). Restaurants are very good everywhere, namely "-alm" or "-hütte" with various specialties (e.g. yoghurt, strudel). The bus transportation is excellent, some 30 minutes between two buses. Many parking places for cars, if necessary. Interested people can (at some rocky locations) choose also mountaineering with different degrees of difficulty. A larger town is Mayerhofen that is not far and it is also easily reachable by bus (or cable-way from the above mountain top).
We had a wonderful trip to Zillertal. Our stay at Haus Alexandra was perfect. The location was great, in the heart of the area but also on a quiet street. The apartment was spacious, with two bathrooms and plenty of storage space. The underfloor heating was great, especially in the winter. The fast Wi-Fi was also a big plus.
The owners were very welcoming and helpful. They prepared fresh pastries for us and cleared the snow around our car every day. They also arranged a 10% discount on our ski passes.
The pension is situated in the heart of Finkenberg and has an authentic experience. My room boasted wooden floors, a vintage cabinet, and iron curtain hangers, all around 50 years old yet retaining their charm. The room offered a comfortable bed and chairs. The ski room was conveniently located near the parking area. Breakfast was traditional and high-quality, featuring eggs, cheese, ham, muesli, and coffee/tea. Rosenegg epitomizes Finkenberg hospitality, ensuring a memorable stay.
This hotel exceeded all of my expectations! The owners were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The interior design was modern and sleek, creating a luxurious atmosphere. The highlight of the stay was definitely the rooftop jacuzzi and sauna - the perfect way to relax after a day of skiing. And the cherry on top? The hotel is conveniently located just steps away from the ski lift. I highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to come back!
Nina was so friendly and so helpful. She took time to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed, including helping us with the local tyrol free covid testing system and regulations.
The Bruckenhof is in a great location very close to the village store and the local ski hire shop and only a short walk to the main Finkenberg cable car lift. We will definitely return to the Bruckenhof!
The apartment is very comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious and easily accommodate 3 people, and so is the common area. The view from the living room is lovely. The kitchen worked well and the TV allowed us to watch Netflix. It is a short drive to the Finkenberg gondola, which is the best way to access the Mayrhofen ski area. Also, the hosts are very nice.
The apartment is really cozy and clean. The kitchen is well equipped for who wants to cook there.
Corina is a lovely host and helped with all the questions I had.
There is a bus stop really close to the apartment which goes to Hintertuxer ski lift and to Mayhofen.
I would definitely recommend it and stay again in the future :)
I was really happy with the staff; they took great care of me, making sure I had enough to eat and helped me quickly whenever I asked.
The hotel has a handy place to store skis, lots of parking, big rooms, and a good variety of breakfast foods. Although breakfast started to get a bit monotonous after five days, I still liked it.
Nice, clean room in the quiet town of Finkenburg. The host met us with the keys and offered to help with anything we needed. Nice balcony and a small grocery store very close by (walking distance). Perfect "home base" for our day of hiking. No breakfast but free parking right in front of the hotel. We enjoyed our stay!
Amazing, cosy and warm hotel in the Alps. Close to lots of great hikes and not far from a fantastic golf course. The room was spacious and had well appointed. The restaurant was lovely, clean and the food was delicious. When we come back to western Austria we will definitely come back to this lovely place.
We were greeted with a warm welcome by the owner after a very long drive and she made us feel instantly at home. We both are a great fan of the cosyness of the hotel in general! The beds are big enough and very comfortable.
Everything was there for a great ski-holiday.
Would recommend!!
Beautifully located with stunning views to the mountains.
The hotel is very quiet.
The service was amazing.
Excellent location, very friendly staff, excellent restaurant.
Everything was perfect.
Highly recommended!
Thank you!
Very nice apartment in a great localization - 300m from the Finkenberger Albanhen valley station and 50m from the ski bus stop. Heating for ski boots and ski room available.
Great place for skiing lovers!
Finkenberg. The apartment is set just off the main road but it was quiet and the location was what we wanted. Spacious and parking outside. Good wardrobes and comfortable bed. Wifi. Great for short stays.
The service was excellent we rented ski equipment at the hotel and ski passes as well
The food was so good and all staff were very warm and gave us a good feeling
