The staff is very helpful and kind and they speak english really good. The villa and the breakfast is lovely. We only had one full and two half days which was not enough for Venice so we are already planning a second trip sometime. We will definitely book in Villa Casanova again. Absolutely recommended.

very clean mini penthouse style with direct room elevator access. great location. greeting fruits and coffee at the reception and lets not forget, the beach at our feet. slept with the window open, fresh brise with the sound of the waves. la vita bella 🙂. thank you Petra. I recommend this place

After a long day with lots of walking we were very happy to return to this B&B. We were welcomed by the owner who gave us lots of information. Very interesting chap! We had a large room with a very comfortable bed. My partner had a nice warm bath and we slept very well. The room had 2 arm chairs and a large wardrobe, easy when you want to hang your clothes away. We had a private toilet and bathroom. The house is beautifully decorated and it gave us a very rich, comfortable and relaxing feeling. Breakfast was very nice too. We loved our stay and highly recommend it, both Venice and this gem of a B&B!

Le Serre del Lido is extremely green and beautiful space with a very gracious host and great rooms that have everything you might need. It is right opposite an amazing beach and is ten minutes walk from the ferry to everywhere in Venice. Will come again!

Loved the location. A short walk from the ferry boat dock. A lovely walk to the beach. Close to restaurants, cafes, and shopping. The outdoor breakfast area was charming and breakfast had many selections to choose from, self-serve. Very good coffee. The proprietors were friendly and very helpful with information about getting around. The top room was spacious with a private bath and large terrace, all very clean and tasteful. Some low ceiling beams to be cautious of but a very bright, pleasant, and sunny space.

Stefano was very kind to us, check-in 2 hours earlier as well as half an hour late check-out and luggages storage until we left Lido around lunch was not a problem. The neighborhood is quiet and not far away from beach as well as close to water bus to Venice. Stefano was helpfull with good tips for visit and made us really great breakfast everyday. We felt like at home, it was a really pleasant stay.

Overall Exceptional! Stay: the attic room consists of 2 parts, upstairs bedroom and downstairs bathroom. Upstairs has 2 roof windows with a double bed and storage. The room is quiet restricted due to roof and not very high ceiling. You won’t be able to use the sides but no problem if you are only looking for a night stay, it is and old style decorated room. The downstairs bathroom is modern and nice. Overall it is very clean and nice for stay. The only and major issue is the stairs, it’s not very convenient for multiple times up and down. It’s really narrow (I mean really) but we had no issues at all. Just to be aware. It was quite as the host are also living there. Host: a very kind and lovely couple. They have shared valuable information with us which made our trip much easier. Location: the best ever decision we made! The room is located in a separate island called Lido. Very peaceful and safe. It has great transportation so you don’t need to worry. Food & Laundry: there is no laundry option in b&b but there are laundry in Lido - just 10 mins from stay. In the bus route. Washing starts from €7 and drying from €2 for 15 mins. There are many restaurants but our favourite was takeaway pizza “Punto Pizza da Maury” the best in town and Margarita was €6 only! There is also a nice market chain called Conad City which has fresh cooked food any many other options. Just across the Lido waterbus station. Transportation: there are ACTV day cards, we purchased 2 day for €35 each and it’s a MUST! You can freely use all actv services (except airport but for airport you can use number 5 bus from the main bus station and get off 2 bus stop before at Tessera and walk to the airport with this card) With this cards we freely used waterbusses many times. A great value of flexibility including late night time!

The villa itself is stunning, the apartment was very beautiful, large, comfortable, clean, and it had everything we needed. We didn’t want to leave. The dog was very sweet, I wish we saw her more :)  parking was super easy right on the street. About 10 minutes walk to the vaporetto to get to the center, so you’re close to everything and even closer to the Biennale.  We got fish at the local market and we were able to bake it at home, which was excellent. You are two minutes away from the beach. The weather was warm. We were even able to swim, it wasn’t too cold.  it was very nice and quiet neighborhood. The kitchen had kitchen towels, dishwasher with dish tablets, and salt and some sugar, Nespresso machine, so you could bring or buy some spices if you plan to cook. Make sure you make it to the terrace on the roof, it’s such beautiful view ❤️ Thanks to Alessandra, the host, we got on the correct ferry that carries cars, the one from Tronchetto not Punta Sabbioni.

Our stay at this charming villa was a welcome escape from the bustling crowds of Venice's tourist center. The villa's beautiful garden was an inviting sanctuary, providing the ideal backdrop for sipping aperitivos and indulging in fine wines with freinds on warm oktober nights. The tranquility of this oasis was further complemented by the gracious host, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enrich our experience with warm hospitality, even at late hours. In short, this guesthouse receives our wholehearted endorsement, and sure does so to everyone, not only during the peak tourist season but also on misty October days. The lido is a visit well worth for everyone, not only the readers of Thomas Mann's literature.
