Good maid service alternate days.. Lovely restaurant and good service. Our host booked us a taxi back to the airport and helped with our bags. Close to bus stop and local shops and tavernas, choice of several other beaches within walking distance. Koukounaries is a great place to stay, our third visit.
This family-run apartment complex is set amidst lush green landscape, and right next to the beach of Asselinos. All units have a fully equipped kitchen and a living area.

fantastic location and lovely building with private pool, beach views and secure environment. very well looked-after with cleaning and linen changes 3x a week. Fly screens and cleanliness meant no issues with ‘creatures’.

My 2nd stay to Hotel Rene and once again it did not disappoint. Location perfect with the most spectacular views. Friendly staff, nothing too much. Will definitely be back 😁
Excellently located in a peaceful area, just a 5-minute walk to the centre of Skiathos, this adults-only hotel offers an Olympic-sized swimming pool and free breakfast.

Nice beach, but a bit overcrowded (in the number of persons / number of sunbeds). Although, in the see you don't feel the crowd.
Koukounaries is a bit far away from Skiathos Town (45 minutes to 1 hour the bus drive). small market shops in koukounaries are very expensive (at least 2 times more than a usual supermarket, while the selection of products is limited).

Koukounaries is a remote village surrounded by forest, 15-30 minutes walk to very beautiful beaches. I missed the seaviews and the nightlife. None of the properties in this area has seaview, because there is a lake and a forest that separates the main road from the beach. I would recommend to rent a car or something else to go to the beaches around. When it is very hot, it is not comfortable to walk 30 minutes under the sun. Bear in mind that the area is full of rats, especially if the property is in the wood. My friends ( 6 families) were staying at Driades and I was terrified to see rats in the garden among children playing. Not to mention at night! ( of course we have photos and videos)
I have eaten at Under the pine, which is nice and at Big Bad Wolf, where we have paid 12 euros for the bread! But the seabass and the lamb chops were perfect.
The beaches nearby are quite beautiful. My favorite was Mandraki Elias. Agia Eleni is a nice beach, too. Koukounaries is very crowded, but it is ok to go for a day or two.

Koukounaries is a fairly long road with relatively few properties, it's basically a big pine forest surrounded by a dozen beautiful beaches... there's at least two brilliant bars, more restaurants.
Great bus service, 20 minutes to town.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. No reflection of the photos on Booking.com and a complete scam. Our room had been double booked and we were told our only option was to sleep in a room allocated to staff with a broken shower, no aircon and ripped /dirty curtains.
Promised a 60% refund only to be told upon our return to the UK that this wouldn't happen.
Arranged with the hotel to be collected by the hotel from the airport to only wait 2 hours before being told make your own way.
Completely missold based on the profile and images on Booking

It is a small resort at the far end of the island with a few Taverna’s and a gorgeous beach
It has a water taxi from the beach to Skiathos town and buses every 10 mins to get around the island.
The tavernas are varied and a couple of bar’s one of which is mostly English and sells cocktails and English breakfasts, which personally I want to avoid when in the beautiful Greek islands.
Greek food and hospitality is amazing and I like to appreciate local dishes, Souv Lake was a lovely gyros cafe bar, on the way to the beach.
Would definitely recommend the area and would return, although for night life you are best to get the bus into town.
The location is very good, you can walk to Koukounaries beach and even to the beaches near Mandraki forest (we took the car since we were with our 3-year-old, but there were many people walking to those beaches).
The room we had at the top floor had an amazing view, the beds were comfortable. The hotel has 2 restaurants 2 minutes away and many others 10-15 minutes away by foot.
The playground was also useful for us.
The clothes rack broke during our stay and the staff immediately repaired it, Dorina and Eugen were prompt and ready to help.
The outside space is amazing. Lots of different levels and places to sit meaning people can get some space and find shade if needed. The pool is just beautiful and was cleaned daily. The location of the villa is fantastic too, lots of beaches, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Yopu can also get a water taxi from the beach to skiathos town which is convenient and fun. Dorata and Grigoris who look after the property are very lovely and professional and did a fantastic job. Would happily come back and stay here again.
The accommodation is situated in a quiet environment surrounded by a large garden with beautiful pine trees. The noise of the main road can almost not be heard at all. The room was well equipped and had a pleasant temperature. Koukounaries beach is easily approachable on foot through the trail along Strophilia lake. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as a supermarket. Bus stop 24 is 1-2 mins on foot. The owner/cleaning lady was very nice.
The position on the beach is wonderful and your own pool if you don’t fancy getting sandy feet. Stathis has been great as has the gentleman who maintains the outside each day. This is the best place we’ve ever stayed in Greece bar none. Book this property, you won’t regret it. Amazing views, watch the sea, watch the goat herd that comes down the mountain each day for about an hour at teatime. Facilities are ideal and the beds were firm but comfortable.
The hotel is under new management and they are very accommodating, changes are ongoing to make the hotel one of the best in Skiathos, the staff are friendly and go the extra mile to ensure you have everything you need to make your holiday. George, Jonny on reception extremely helpful and Socrates who manages the breakfast and bar is so friendly and welcoming. Thank you to the management team at silver beach we had a lovely stay with you
Fotis and George were very welcoming and any issues that arose were dealt with very promptly. The apartments are in quiet gardens yet in close proximity to all amenities and for exploring Skiathos.
If you are looking for good value basic accommodation this is a good choice.
The only slight issues are masoniettes are very low Ceilings and you cannot stand upstairs and only really suitable for children.
The hotel is perfectly located with access to 4 beautiful sandy beaches. You don't have to worry about finding space on the beach no matter how late you go.
The whole area is very green and gives you the opportunity to properly relax.
The Grace rooms are spacious, well arranged and with beautiful terraces overlooking the sea.
All beach bars are very nice with large sunbeds and friendly staff.
The hotel is very clean, the installations are new and at very good standards.
The place is very pleasant relaxing and close to the beaches. The hotel is very nice!
Unfortunately the hotel is 20 min a way from the city center you need a car.
The breakfast is really amazing.
The staff is taking care of their guests.
Perfect stay for a few days of vacation, I recommend !!
thank you
If you’ve chosen to stay at Elivi Skiathos, here is the best tip: don’t expect this to be a 5-star hotel experience. Overall this is a very solid 4 stars boutique hotel - think this, and you won’t be disappointed with your stay.
The only one exception from was Tani, the manager, who was super attentive and prompt with our requests and needs and did provide a top service.
The hotel is incredibly nice, great service, everyone were extremely friendly. Good roof top restaurant with astonishing view. We've booked a room with the see view and it was breathtaking, from our room's balcony we were able to see the sunset.
The room also was very clean.
Air conditioning worked well.
In several minutes are located very nice beaches.
Hotel was very clean, great pool and close proximity to an exceptional beach. Host was cordial and very helpful to accommodate all of our needs !! There were 2 Good restaurants near to the hotel which allowed us to enjoy the beach all day. A 10 Km drive to the main city for shopping and vibrant nightlife. Highly recommended.
The hotel has a great location close to Koukounaries and other beaches. Despite being close to the main road, it was very calm. The hotel rooms are in different small buildings which are spread across an amazing and well kept garden. Staff was always very friendly and helpful.
The apartment was even nicer than in the pictures, it had a very cozy feeling. 5 minutes walk to Koukounaries beach. The host was very helpful, we asked before arriving if there is a child seat in the apartment, it was not, but they ordered one.
Clean, Koukounaries Beach 10 min walk, comfortable beds, good a/c, kitchen, terrace, garden view, market 100m walk, manicured property, super nice hosts. We will be back!
