It’s a nice pool area, though.
Large buffet breakfast with loads of choice.
Long wait in line to get a breakfast table - not enough staff clearing up tables that were used. For the price of staying, this is not on. There were many empty tables, but they weren’t set. Guests just had to stand & wait in line.

Calpe was lovely, plenty of bars and restaurants. We had our Maltese pooch with us and he was made very welcome.
Plenty of lovely walks around, beautiful scenery, you need good comfortable shoes. We stayed in the Old Town, this was interesting and pretty. Shout out to a fabulous restaurant: El Santo in the old town, made us very welcome and lovely food. We found Calpe to be extremely clean and friendly. :)

We enjoy walking and there were so many places to walk to.
We enjoy walking and there were so many places to walk to. Les Bassetes has a lovely cafe/bar. The old town is great to walk around as is the port area.
Playa del Arenal-Bol seems to get mentioned a lot in articles on Calp but we enjoyed Platja de la Fossa. This is the "other side" of Ifach and has many cafes and shops.
And then of course there is Ifach itself. I recommend booking a day to visit before you leave home.
The tram enabled us to visit Benidorm, Altea and Denia.

Calpe, nestled on the Costa Blanca, feels like it’s straight...
Calpe, nestled on the Costa Blanca, feels like it’s straight out of a postcard. Let me share our impressions:
Picturesque Views: The town boasts a dramatic rocky headland and palm-dotted beaches, all kissed by the Mediterranean waters. It’s a visual treat for anyone who appreciates natural beauty.
Beachside and Harbor Delights: We found the beachside and harbor area to be the prettiest part of Calpe. Strolling along the waterfront, watching boats sway, and feeling the sea breeze—it was idyllic.
Avoiding Crowded Center: However, we’re not fans of the crowded central area and bustling promenade. For us, the quieter corners near the beach and port held more appeal.
In summary, Calpe offers a delightful blend of ancient history, scenic wonders, and modern comforts. Whether you’re a nature lover or seeking relaxation, this coastal gem has something to offer.

Plenty of excellent shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Lovely walk to the Calpe rock. Easy car journey to Altea and Moraira.
Especially enjoyed walking uphill to the old town. Loved the restaurant "La Cena" and the "il Posit. Walking the sea front in Altea and up to the old church was super.

Calpe is the great place to come between December and March for as short as few days and as long as a month or so - especially if you're escaping from one of those dark, wet and cold places.
It was so nice to experience nice temperatures and see the big blue Spanish sky :)

There are buses so you can get around Calpe.
There are buses so you can get around Calpe. From the Hotel Ifach into the old town was not walkable so need bus or car. We didn't find much for eating out, mainly burgers, pastas, and pizzas. The lake was nice and , if you are fit enough, you could walk around the lake.
From the hotel Ifach to the nearest beach was just a few yards but the area was neglected and the paseo very dirty. The whole of Calpe is being developed at a great rate and all huge multi storey buildings. It is looking more like Benidorm. All the way up the surrounding mountains is also over developed spoiling any views of the mountains. Calpe is significantly changed and not for the better. We will not be going again.
Hotel is amazing, super nice, top notch. Great location right in front of the beach. The hotel is at the end of the beach, which means, it is less crowded.
The hotel's staff was absolutely amazing and super friendly. When we got to our room, we were shocked by the size of it, with a beautiful balcony.
Breakfast next morning was great, amazing buffet, I really liked the freshly squeezed juice with the Zumex machine - super interesting!
The infinity pool in front of the sea was incredible with chill music.
Wish I had stayed more days!
This is a beautifully appointed apartment, with the best ocean view and a direct view of the Rock D’Ifach and above all, the most convenient location. Right on the boardwalk. There were even beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and even a beach bag for us to use! They thought of everything! Couldn’t ask for more!
Maria was amazingly attentive and responded very quickly to my inquiries. All the restaurant recommendations she gave us were superb. We would love to go back next year. Great Hostess!
Great location very clean host very helpful . The owners made sure that our holiday was made as enjoyable as possible. The apartment was spotless and cleaned mid holiday which was rather nice. The best apartment we have ever hired in Calpe. Imma was wonderful and promptly answered any queries we had meet us at the apartment and carefully explained all the facilities at the apartment. You would have to be very picky not to enjoy yourselves
Excellent hotel for the room price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean throughout. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of evening buffet style food including freshly grilled meats. Very well maintained throughout with with a nice pool. Excellent location 2 minutes walk from a great beach and selection of restaurants and bars. 5 minutes car journey from Calpe town centre. For the money a fantastic hotel and service experience.
Perfect apartment with spectacular location and balcony. Every person in our family loved the lounger on the balcony and spent hours there. Location in Calpe is so perfect, the glory of the Ifach in view and large beach boardwalks with activities, restaurants and shops in two directions. Beach directly below the apartment was less crowded than the larger public beaches, perfect. Good value and felt very secure.
-great value for money
-very helpful and smiling staff (helped me get transportation early morning back to the airport)
-many options available at the hotel restaurant
-large room and confortable bed (mine with fantastic sea view from the balcony)
-big bathroom and a lot of space for the clothes and suitcases
-the fact that there is a swimming pool even though I didn't use it
-supermarkets very close by
The place is in front of the beach, walking distance to the rock. We took a train from Alicante to Calpe, and local bus to the hotel. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel, which helped us a lot after 2 hours train ride plus 15 minutes bus ride with children. Our place had a beautiful view of the beach and the rock. The inside pool was a bonus for us visiting there in February.
Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. Paid extra for port view (room 502) and awoke to an amazing view even though it was raining. The room was well appointed and interactions with all staff were positive. We ate in the Hotel restaurant and the food (Paella) was lovely. If I visit Calpe again I would definitely use this hotel again
house was very clean with everything you need. The pool area was really safe and private exactly as website and better.Carlos was always on the other end of the phone and resolved and issues with great efficiency. Thanks Carlos for letting your home to me and my family and helping us enjoy our experience in Calpe.
Remote controlled access to the overall compound gives added security. Good Location, quiet area, easy to get to Calpe and other parts of that region. Nice view, good facilities in the villa. Nice size private pool. Ideal for a family of up to 6.
Reserved parking space.
The location of the hotel was perfect for everything Calpe has to offer .
The hotel is exceptionally clean, comfortable and spacious.
The breakfast was well presented, a massive variety and fresh , every day there was a change in options
Lovely little hotel in the heart of the old town of Calpe. Staff were super helpful and check in process was straightforward. Room was clean and quiet. Bed was memory foam and very comfortable. Would stay again
Great view from the apartment. Location was perfect! I would recommend to family and friends. When I come back to Calpe I would book again. There was nothing I did not like about the apartment. Very pleased
We went to Calpe to have a specific family vacation, Casa Oliana had those specifications and we enjoyed it greatly: Cozy home, private pool, barbecue and good location
I highly recommend it.
Facilities, location , hosts - all great! Of course it's not a hotel so you need to respect the facilities in order to make your stay and others comfortable!!
