Pretty good location with easy access to the main roads to get to Skye or other areas, and easily walkable to the town center. Supermarket is close by. The owner is lovely, he was present upon my arrival and gave me a tour of the accessible areas, the shared bathroom etc.

The room was compact but this had been indicated in the information so was not a surprise. It contained everything necessary. There were some instructions regarding parking however this was not problem.

The weather was terrible very high winds and very very wet but that didn't stop us from doing some sight seeing the only thing that the guest house needs a lick of paint inside and outside that would make the building more attractive everything else was fine for us and destination from Bridge to guest house sat nav said second exit but it was the first we would go back again thanks for having us Mr.+ Mrs.whitehouse

The location was just for a stop over on our way to Falkirk.

The bed had seen better days as the springs had gone and were very uncomfortable and noisy with little movement. The floorboards also were very noisy from upstairs and when moving around the room.

Scenery was nice.
Scenery was nice. You definitely need a car as a lot of walking and also you are depending on transport, which is unreliable. No shops only the Coop. If you have no car you have to walk over two bridges and back to get food. A few restaurants.Didn’t realise how far the guest house from the station was. We walked it in bad weather and it took us nearly 40 mins. It was definitely an experience. It’s a day visit place or a base to drive to other places.

The shops do get overrun by tourists often so can be difficult to get basic needs when coachloads of people are trying to get trinkets and tatt. But the views from everywhere on this island are stunning, no matter where. Kyleakin is just the first of many on your journey round.

This is not a bnb, just a bunk house, very poor, no standards, room grubby very dated, all needs upgrading, would not recommend to anyone, breakfast was well cooked, but next door in a bikers cafe! No disrespect to bikers, we also have a bike. Staff at the cafe welcoming..but its just a hostel!
We arrived at White Heather Hotel and were blown away by the location. Right on the water with the most beautiful views, the owner was so friendly and offered us all kinds of recommendations on places to eat (even offering to book us a table as it can get very busy) and offering local tips on places to visit. The breakfast was exceptional and the bed was SO comfy! I would highly recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone visiting Skye!
The Strathspey is certainly within the top 3 accommodations I have stayed in during 30 years of frequent world travel. The hospitality is unparalleled, relaxed and incredibly professional all at once. I could not recommend this place more highly. Don’t miss a chance to stay here while on the Isle of Skye, and fit in a visit to Eilean Donan Castle and the village of Dornie while you’re at it!
Exceptionally comfortable house. Sofas beds etc
Loved coal fire. Excellent views. Jacuzzi bath was veryrelaxing. Very Very clean house. Really enjoyed sitting out in garden watching the boats coming in/going out. Very peaceful area. Host was very hospitable. Location very central to explore either Isle of skye or the beautiful West Coast of Scotland.
Cannot recommend highly enough!!
Peter was a great host communication was good ahead of arrival , Peter showed us around the unit .
The accommodation was really comfortable. Great powerful shower own outside space allocated parking .
If you like coffee the coffee machine was a great added touch, tea
Coffee was complementary.
Great location and was perfect for our short stay at the Isle of Skye .
The bathroom looked like it had new facilities whereas the bedroom could use some updating. It was hot in the room even though we opened the windows. The location is good if you are visiting the Isle of Skye. It is very pretty area. The breakfast was standard breakfast. Supper was a hit and miss. The smoked fish were good; the curry not good; the steak pie average.
The hosts were extremely warm and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. The living room and kitchen were well stocked and extremely comfortable and spacious with outstanding views of the isle of Skye. The bedroom was large and the funky bathroom with giant tub was a dream to relax in after a long day. We had a beautiful meal nearby at Saucy Mary’s.
Idyllic location for venturing on the Isle of Skye. A short walk from a historic castle ruin. The cottage was very roomy with ample facilities for families large and small. It boasts a fabulous view down to the little quay. There’s natural sounds at night with unspoilt night skies.
Janette was a very welcoming and helpful host. The location is great allowing easy access both to Skye itself and to the mainland. The house provides all the essentials for a comfortable stay including dishwasher and washing machine.
Made a diversion off the normal NC500 route to visit Skye again - highly recommended.
Went for walk in the evening and saw wild otters - blydi fantastic!!
Stunning view across the loch and the bridge while having a great breakfast.
The bar staff and reception staff were really friendly. The hotel is in a great location. Good choice of food for breakfast. Evening meals were very reasonably priced. Lovely view of the Skye Bridge right outside.
