Dinner and Breakfast were both really good. The room was very good too. I particularly liked the USB connected mirror in the bathroom, which allowed the guest to connect via Bluetooth and play their own music. The hotel layout was good and the views were excellent! There was also a really good area outside to sit and eat or drink. I also loked the tie-up with the local farm, which produced very good food.

I had a delightful buffet breakfast that included scrambled eggs, mushrooms, beans, hash browns, fried eggs, sausage, and bacon. There was also a menu with additional items to order. The restaurant was charming, not too crowded, and the tables were nicely spaced apart. I booked the spa suite, which had a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and double-ended bath, as well as a roomy area with a sofa and desk. The room service meals are fantastic and are available from the restaurant. I really appreciate this service when I return to the hotel from a day in the office - the belly pork is particularly enjoyable. Plenty of free parking and electric charging points.

The rooms were modern and clean but a little cramped.
The rooms were modern and clean but a little cramped. There was good secure separation between the hotel rooms and the hotel bars. It is very central to Chesterfield, which was fantastic.
Unfortunately the room did not have a fridge and the wifi cut out every couple of minutes.

Love Chesterfield. Such a pretty town. You must visit the church with the wonky steeple. We loved the market and #Coffee shop.
My husband is on a mobility scooter and the pavements were a bit wobbly!
As we were on a budget we ate at Wetherspoons where my husband enjoyed a really good craft beer and myself an excellent white wine (Villa Maria) Also we enjoyed the food there

Chesterfield was very busy, as should be expected on a Saturday, but the scariest bit was the roundabout system just outside the town near the retail park. I gave up trying to navigate them and changed my plans

Brilliant location for visiting Chatsworth House and Bolsover Castle.
Loved the market town vibe and the twisted spire on the church was fascinating. No climbs inside, til the spring and summer though.
Some fascinating architecture to see and a brilliantly helpful Tourist Information Office where we got a couple of town walk maps.

Second only visit to the city of the "Twisted Spire" even though only for a brief stay over pleasant enough. Have to add the young lady who booked us in at the Spread Eagle was absolutely charming and a credit...will surely have no hesitation in re-booking...so it's a Ten! from Len :)
Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Room was beautiful with everything you could possibly need. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the shower room was exceptional. There was no cooked food options on the premises but a well stocked breakfast basket was provided and recommendations for places to eat in the evening. We went to the recommended Galleon steak house and can fully endorse the recommendation. We enjoyed our visit to the Spread Eagle and Chesterfield so much we're returning in a few days!!
James was extremely friendly and helpful, with lots of information and even assisted us in providing an emergency iron and ironing board. We booked three rooms and all were larger than expected and well equipped and very comfortable. Breakfast was great, easy for us to help ourselves based on our own schedule. Location easy to find, adequate parking at hotel plus street parking and local car park nearby. Easy walking into Chesterfield, all exceeding our expectations.
The room was small but excellently laid out, entrance was secure and in a quiet location with continental style breakfast. Bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed it all. Really liked that the owner Jill was very friendly and accessible should we need her. Would happily stay again.
Excellent location to Chesterfield Town centre.
Staff were excellent: Scott the manager very friendly and polite when checking us in and made sure we had everything we needed for our overnight stay.
Room was very cleaned, and well stocked.
Bed was comfortable.
The restaurants are very good, including the breakfast and bar, and there is very friendly staff at restaurants and reception. The gym is very small but good for all basic needs (It cannot occupy more than two simultaneously if you are in strength training).
all food exceptional room amazing everything about this hotel is brilliant.Staff polite nothing is too much trouble.
Ideal location just outside Chesterfield close to Bakewell and other tourist areas.

I’ve been coming here a good few year now using the restaurant and hotel. I have to say the staff are amazing so friendly and attentive and I genuinely can’t fault the place .👍
Location good for visiting Chesterfield Town centre and Chatsworth and some friends in the area. A nice extra was having a goodie basket. The studio was well planned and warm.
It is a really nice Hotel, very nice staff, great location, quiet, a good breakfast, very good food for dinner, you have to prebook a table, but that’s not a problem.
Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel in a good location for the town centre. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was very good value for money.
