The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good, don’t expect various products, it’s not a continental breakfast more like a French breakfast. The location is great, very close to Colmar center. There’s public parking space in front of the hotel, it’s crowded in the evening but if you make few turns you’ll find a space.

Very small comfortable city with good sights and good food.
Very small comfortable city with good sights and good food. French or Alsace specialities are much hyped but if some meat with sauerkraut and flammkuchen are their flagship dishes, then they have a long way to go.

Colmar is a stunning old town that is easily walkable. It’s equally stunning at night. There are endless restaurants and places to have a drink.
It does get a bit noisy at night and I think more care must be taken by locals at night bombing through the streets after dark.

The old town itself is delightful, and the rather short but serene river boat ride not to be missed. The Tram ride is worthwhile...a bit bumpy, and in German, but the ride presents you with a sketch of which parts of the town are right for you to explore.
On the other hand, parking for the hotels in Old Town is awful...one has to park very far away and drag suitcases to the your hotel, unless your hotel has a person who, for a good tip, can do that for you. The city fathers should at least allow taxis to do this for tourists.

I loved the fairytale feeling of Colmar.
I loved the fairytale feeling of Colmar. I also love the location. I was able to visit several other fairytale villages in France and then go into Germany and Switzerland as well. The wine is better than I expected also.

It's like a fairytale city which I always wanted to visit. It's so quiet and nice.
For dinner the restaurants are open from 7 pm to 9:30 pm or latest 10 pm.
Prices are a bit too high though. Around 25 euros only for the main dish for a person.
There are not coffee specialty places. Wherever I bought a cappuccino it was not the best, quite average I would say if you are a coffee lover.

Colmar is in a great location for people interested in the wineries of Alsace. We booked a private wine tour and visited several beautiful old villages and three wineries. I highly recommend this activity. We also highly recommend the Unterlinden Museum (the Issenheim Altarpiece is amazing) and the Bartholdi Museum. If you are able to prepare your own meals, the covered market in Colmar is a great place to shop for local foods and produce and it is located near Little Venice, so it's a scenic stroll. We took the bus to see the replica Statue of Liberty and I wouldn't recommend this activity unless you have a car. The statue is situated on an extremely busy roundabout so we were unable to get close to it - I'm really not sure how people on Instagram managed to get their amazing photos. Finally, if you are travelling during Lent, check to see when the Colmar Carnaval is being held. We personally did not enjoy the noise and the crowds, but we weren't expecting it since we didn't know about the Carnaval before travelling.
The location was ideal, right in the heart of the city center with plenty of places to eat, see and enjoy. The apartment was spacious with plenty of needed supplies (including coffee-thank you!) as well as that sweet balcony. The bed was comfortable and the A/C not too loud (and very effective!) Parking was available (though we found street parking). Owner was very responsive and reached out to check that all was okay. It was such a fabulous place and made our last few days in France relaxing and enjoyable.
This is not a hotel. It is so much more! A beautiful home and Rachel made us feel like royalty! Her breakfast was the most beautifully presented meal, that included home made breads, jams, honey from her family's hives, strawberries from her back garden and so much more. We became friends and her hospitality set the bar for an amazing stay. A 10 minute walk and you are in Petite Venice in Colmar / short walk to the train station. I would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful town in this stunning home.
Good location within walking distance of the centre of Colmar. Comfortable bed, spacious & attractive rooms with superb facilities. Tasteful ensuite bathroom. Secure underground parking was a big bonus to us as travelling via motorcycle.
Lovely breakfast with excellent selection of cheese, fruit, & meats. Comfortable dining area with friendly staff.
Hotel definitely exceeded expectations & wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
The staff was very friendly and explained everything (map, keys, ...) thoroughly upon arrival. The location was perfect. We remained parked at the hotel for the duration of our trip and we're able to comfortably walk towards the center of Colmar. The breakfast buffet was perhaps the best part of our stay. They offered many delicious options. Overall, a lovely accommodation for a great price.
The hotel is within easy walk to the centre of Colmar, but located in lovely residential area with nice houses to look at.
I appreciated that for cosy location it has a private car park.
I liked that the economy family room was reasonable in size, it was the only room left when I booked it 2 days before arrived during peak tourist season in August and I expected it to be cramped.
Great location if you're traveling by train. The hotel is walkable to the train station and to the old town area of Colmar.
Very helpful staff and decent breakfast choices.
A nice perk are the free lockers available to store luggage after you check out in the morning if you're still touring that day..
Nothing fancy, but a good value.
Colmar is a great town to visit. The hotel location was very central to everything. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station. . . The host/service met me at the room with a key and explained amenities. . . The weather was hot. There was no air condition, but the host supplied a fan, which was perfect! . . I would stay here again.
The property is located right in the heart of beautiful Colmar, France! Literally walking distance to everything. This is the absolute most beautiful little fairy tale town I’ve ever seen. The staff was so helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean. We had a nice little terrace right off the back door of our room.
A fantastic place to stay in Colmar! Central but not noisy, comfortable beds (we had the superior room), nice room, beautiful stylist decoration, Traditional feeling, cultural heritage building, super wifi, elevator!!!!!!!! Staff very polite and they also speak English and German (rare thing in France 😁)!
Hotel location was decent. Close enough to the train station. And you can walk to the city. Buses are infrequent and I didn't see any taxies in Colmar. It seemed like most of the people who visited came driving. If you did, then maybe this location makes sense.
The staff was really nice too.
This property is simply beautiful, it is perfectly located in the centre of Colmar but on a quiet street. The standard of accommodation is incredibly high, very comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms but also very well equipped with coffee machine, washer and dryer and full kitchen.
Location of hotel is excellent as it is right in the middle of the scenic old town in Colmar and everything you want to see is nearby. Bed is large and comfortable with power sockets at the bedside. There are heater racks for towels and clothes in the bathroom.
Amazing location, in reach of all major attractions in Colmar.
Very welcoming, responsive, and friendly hotel staff.
Clean and comfortable room which met all of our expectations.
Overall, great choice if you decided to visit Colmar.
The staff - very helpful and and professional. We had a serious issue to resolve vsv Avis France and the hotel staff assisted us a lot in making the contact and overcoming the "no English" of the Avis people.
Ibis is Ibis. If you are familiar with the concept, you know what you get. The hotel was chosen because of parking possibility and the distance to the old city centre (5 minutes of waking).
Wonderful location to explore old city Colmar
And the best breakfast I’ve ever had in France -and I’ve had a few!!
Both the restaurants were exceptional too and I would highly recommend
The hotel is located in the heart of Colmar. It has a great restaurant - breakfast is reach, based on local tastes and products, with a variaty of choice.
