The owner greeted us personally and made us feel very welcome. He did not push for us to go on extra excursions nor did he request us to focus on checking in immediately. He made it clear we were to focus on getting comfortable after our long journey. He spent time getting to know us and set a beautiful candlelit dinner up for us by the pool. The next day he drove us to the nearest village where we could buy lunch, and supplies for our stay in a desert camp the next day. He also drove us to our meeting point after check out. All of this at no extra charge. He also provided us with his contact details in case we hit any snags during our stay in the area. Our room was perfect with plenty of space.
We were also given a tour of the hotel and I can attest that the other rooms were also stunning.

Excellent Camp away from the main camp sites a little south of Merzouga. Super friendly and attentive staff, nice dinner, breakfast, camp fire with music after dinner and the camel ride before sunset was magical. Very comfortable tents, only ~6 tents so no big crowds. 100% mer our expectations. Tip: best to arrive ~6pm relax the at 7pm go on the camels to the dunes and su sunset. It is too hot if you arrive too early.

We did the one night tour with the camel treck, staying in the luxury camp, and it was amazing. Everything was perfectly organised, Hassan was very helpful and every step of the tour was a pleasure, and the people involved were nice and accommodating. We also had a room for us to wait before the tour start and afterwards when we came back. Booking was quick and simple and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended

We did eat at Kasba Planet Sahara, Food was great, local, well prepared by the lady cook, just a bit too big portions :):):) Excellent!
Outdoor meal was in the desert - grill - local type - wow, we all enjoyed!
Additionally, was easy to walk arround and to have a drink in some local caffee shops - very nice.
Avoid ..!? to short stay to avoid anything, just add few more days.
First and foremost, I'd like to express my gratitude to Moha for everything. Luxury Desert Camp is one of the best camps in the Merzouga Desert. Moha organized a fantastic desert tour for us, and we had a great time with him and his crew.
If you want to go on a desert trip, book with a luxury desert camp and you will not be disappointed. They will make you feel very welcome.
Thank you, Moha, and everyone else who works there.
This camp comes highly recommended from me. We'll definitely see each other again.
This hotel is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed at, fabulous rooms, atmosphere, food, staff and location.
The chef is fabulous with a beautiful presentation, as well. We enjoyed dinner outside, under the stars. ( thank you for the gluten free meal)
The rooms got beautiful views from the windows.
Ask Youssef if you are interested to do desert activities. A knowledge person from the area, He use to work as a guide in Morocco, Mauritania, Mali…He is the best .
Highly recommended
Perfect 10!!! We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Mezouga Luxury Camp, camel ride from the meeting point to the Camp, 4x4 ride to black Sahara, seeing the sunrise by buggy ride, great breakfast, plentiful dinner, camp fire music and dance. Everything was well organized with Friendly amazing staff. Camp tent was clean and plenty of hot water for shower. Staying in Merzouga luxury camp was highlight of our Morocco trip, maybe in our lifetime . We recommend this Sahara Camp, look no further.
I loved everything about Zahra Luxury Desert Camp. The hospitality was amazing. I can’t be more grateful for the wonderful experience. Ismail, the 2 Mimoune, Mohamed, everyone made us feel special and I appreciate it so much. They helped me programming my time with them. And…the music was wonderful, very ,very fun. I loved every single second we were with the group of these wonderful guys. Thank you for making this so special. I will keep it close to my heart.
Best trip of our life. The service was great during all the trip. Hassan has been looking up for everything to be perfect during all the trip. The van was amazing. The hotels were great. The desert camp was a dream, for sure the best place of all the desert camps nearby. If you want to do a trip to Morocco this is your best option. We will come back and we will contact Hassan again for our next adventure!
Absolutely everything, the camp is the best option for spending unforgettable days in Merzouga. Hotel owner Hassan and all the staff made us feel at home. Room cleanliness and breakfast and dinner are great. I will never forget a night exploring the desert dunes with Hassan in a 4x4 and Omar on a camel. We enjoyed the desert with various activities. Thank you very much!!! I hope to come back
First time for me in the desert with my family and it was a magical experience. We arrived at the Dar Aytma and it was Ali who took care of us from start to finish, offering us a tour of the city and the main market of Merzouga. The next day we spent the night in the desert camp , the comfort, the view is just magical. Thank you for everything, it’s a trip I will never forget.
Sunset desert camp is one of the best desert camp I have ever stayed in. From the staff, exterior decoration to the food, everything was brilliant. I would like to mention also the Berber music at night, it was unforgettable as we danced , the atmosphere was one of the best of my entire life. Highly recommended if you are looking to stay at a luxury desert camp in Merzouga.
A beautiful retreat in the desert that offers you luxury accommodation both in the Riad and also in the tents. The attention to detail makes you feel very spoiled. We had a lovely stay in a room and enjoyed the night activities by the fire. The dinner was one of the best meals we had in Morocco. The staff is really attentive and entertaining. Best decision in staying here.
"A stay in a luxury camp is a journey into the lap of desert luxury. The spacious and well-appointed tents, complemented by the stunning backdrop of the Sahara, create a magical ambiance. The camp's commitment to sustainability and local culture, combined with impeccable service, made our time here not just a stay, but a soulful adventure in the heart of Morocco."
The camp is more remote than most of the hotels and camps in Merzouga. You really feel like you are the only ones in the desert and the tents are original and clean. We loved the quat tour and decided to only stay for one night, which is enough if you arrive before sunset (and with the option to do camel ride to tents)
Our trip was incredible and will be unforgettable! The Desert private luxury camp is luxurious and the food is delicious. Our guide hassan did an incredible job with providing us the full experience with his personal touch and a very friendly attitude 😁 We highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Morocco !

Thank you for the wonderful stay!
We booked this camp for our second night in Merzouga desert, and it exceeded our expectations.
Our first night in Merzouga desert was in a luxury camp, but we wanted also to experience the classic camp.
The tents were comfortable, clean and the food was the best tajine we've had in Morocco.
Stayed for one night at this Riad , it's in amazing locations just at the edge of sand dunes. The stuff is welcoming and friendly. It's really recommended for anyone who want to spend night in Merzouga hotel instead of desert. They also offer overnight at desert camp and camel ride.
we have visited Morocco for a short time and we decided to go to Sahara because we came to Morocco just for that .
we really enjoyed our stay in Merzouga camp & desert activities , you can enjoy the view of the dunes from the camp, also there is a hot water in the shower room.
The trip into the desert by camels was one of the best moments we had in Morocco.
The luxury camp is very comfortable with all you need for a desert stay, Sunset and Sunrise with sandboarding over sand dunes it's worth it.
Thanks for the evening music and tasty food!
This was our first experience in a desert and it was amazing. In Morocco the are a lot of tour operator that can bring you into Erg Chebbi (merzouga) or Zagora. Zagora is not like Merzouga! If you want to find high san dunes (up to 150 mt) choose Merzouga
